amen brotha, amen! i think he's a 7th or 8th player on a championship team, second or third player off the bench.
selling high, after seeing him since his rookie season. he is what he is. and sell high meaning, his value is highest now because of his cheap contract. You can pair him with a bad one like Lins and get something good in return!
OP is an idiot. For length and size alone you keep Parsons. Dude is our best slasher. Team is totally different without him.
terrible, what we need is a player who is a complete player, not just a 3 point specialist. Parsons is that complete player for our team.
i'm not that fond of parsons but even i oppose this idea at this point in time. if it ain't broke don't fix it.
I just got home and was looking forward to posting on this thread. Maybe we should sell really high now! (Sarcasm) Seriously when will the knee jerk reactions end.
Parsons is not a complete player. He's good in transition and spot up shooting. However, he is bad at creating his own shot. His only 1 on 1 move is the pump fake and that only works when Harden draws a double team and gets Parsons defender out of position. Parsons numbers is inflated by our play style. I think Parsons is to Harden as Griffin is to CP3. I don't see him ever being a go to star, he would be a role player star like Griffin. If Harden were to get injured, the play making would go to Lin. If Lin gets injured, we would run an inside out with Howard. Trading Asik + Parsons for a 3 point specialist would be redundant, because Parsons is our 3 point specialist. If we could get a complete PF for the pair, I would totally do it. However, I think the rest of the league sees this problem as well and no one would trade us an all-star PF for just Asik + Parsons.
this thread was based on overreaction most Rockets fans knew Parsons would come out of his slump and knew he would turn it around
