nothing wrong with this thread, IMO. harden and dwight are really the only untouchables in that trading them wont really lead to better players.

i love CP, and i wont let this 2 game skid form a mindset that he must be traded.

but his value is incredibly high. he has the best contract in the league. if he and asik could net us kevin love--i do it in a heartbeat. you can reform CP's production. heck--francisco garcia and omri casspi have proved that. but you cant reform someone like k. love, who is an IDEAL fit in this system.

only flipside is that it would seem incredibly cold blooded in that CP helped bring dwight here...

package Parsons, Lin and Asik to the Lakers for Gasol and Steve Blake!

    Howard
    Gasol
    Garcia
    Harden
    Beverly

Gasol can be our glue guy and he is a great passer. can probalby lead our team in assists

Maybe trade Parsons/Asik/Lin for Kobe and Gasol, along with role playing PG Bev, you'll have the team of your dreams, eh!

If so, you're going to piss off Howard so badly.

You saw two games and started a thread about it? That's stupid, but there are a lot of stupid threads around here.

This is actually not a bad idea. If we can package Asik and Parsons for a good PF, we should. We are deep in the SF position. Garcia and Casspi are both good spot up shooters. Move Lin into the 2nd team and start the new PF.

    Starting lineup would be:
    Beverly, Harden, Garcia, PF, Howard

    2nd unit:
    Brooks, Lin, Casspi, Jones, Dmo/Smith

If we pick up a 3rd star player on a max deal we will lose our depth. I honestly think 2 stars and a good role players is the way to go. Especially since Howard's back could be an issue again at some point.

Yea, that and shipping him to Minnesota where he'll most likely get injured

Let's just ignore all of last season and the playoffs and focus exclusively on the first 2 games of this season. Genius.

    Haha

Typical knee jerk - 2 bad shooting games - bet he comes out tonight and hits for 25

CP does it all - He is the glue. He gets a little streaky on the 3pters at times - Yes we know. But this guy is untouchable.

Parsons is a super star player to many of the fans around here. He can go 0-1001 and these people won't say shyt _ but let Lin have a turnover and the sky is falling. Morey made it perfectly clear that Harden was the only untouchable player on the team (now Howard as well). I wouldn't be surprised if he got traded.

yes, as i mentioned, either asik or lin...hopefully in cuz he's the worst contract. the worst paired with the best plus filler to get all star when available.

no, after watching him since his rookie year. he is what he is, not gonna get too much better, probably worse after someone gives him a big dumb contract.
