I think he knows that his fans are ridiculous. He doesn't choose them they choose him.

I think what happened was that Linsanity made some of his fans think he was that amazing - that he is as good as Kobe and that any failure now is a result of other people holding the Asian man down. How could he score 38 against Kobe but now only get so little - clearly it must be everyone trying to contain him.

That's the only way I can possibly explain the delusion.

 

Enough Lin Threads. Let's talk about how well Harden play. Those people live in dreamland.

 

I'm pretty sure you're not new to watching the NBA. Many fans who support players like Kobe (kobekids) and others are 100xs more homerish towards their favorite player and acts much worst than Lin fans.

What many people here do not realize is a lot of Lin fans are not even Asian. Many are devote Christians who just think Lin is their role model in the NBA. He's the Tebow of the NBA except Lin is pretty decent starting PG.
