We were all so nice for 99 pages and y'all are ruining it.
One (possibly ironic) "LOF" makes a silly ass comment and the usual suspects who do nothing but complain about the LOFs run to it like flies on a turd :(

There's also overly exaggerated and childish generalizing comments like this one that literally do nothing but divide what could be a nice fanbase :(..
    1. I was in that thread and EVERYONE, even mostly vets were crapping on Harden because he was indeed having a bad game. Live game threads are knee-jerky like that, to comment on what's happening.
    2. No one has been defensive today except that 1 troll in the last 2 pages though?
So quit being such a paranoid potato jordnnnn.

    Harden was great.

Lin was good. Twin Towers were good. Garcia was great. We look like a 60 win team as I predicted in the preseason.

lol you have no idea what you are talking about. You can try as hard as you want and you won't find a single post of mine that is hating on Jeremy Lin. Nothing I said in the post you claimed I was "hating" is made up, its a statistical fact.

Look up last years leaders in TOs per 48 for players that played at least 30 minutes per game and then look and compare all those players usage rates. You will find that Lins turnover number is pretty damn high for his usage rate. This isn't hate this is a fact and something he has to work on. Does this mean he is a bad player? Absolutely not. Just a weakness that he has to continue to work on.

Chandler's shot might be off atm but he still does all the other little things.
This was a nice cut from him.
(LOL look at Dwight just letting the ball bounce off his head so he wont get a delay of game call)

Is it mean-spirited that I find it hilarious that 60% of the Rockets third stringers are power forwards?

Okay to criticize all other players on the roster. Not okay to make a comment on Jeremy's game that is not 100% positive. Got it.

I'm certainly not denying that Jeremy did a good job on Calderon (though AB was on him for 2-3 of those misses, even though nobody's giving him any credit). But to compare that to CP3's performance the other night -- there is simply no comparison. None.

One can acknowledge CP3's stellar night without it being some slight to Jeremy. Jeremy is an above-average PG, but there are plenty in the league who are better than he is -- and CP3 is head and shoulders above all of those guys. That's not a criticism of Jeremy or anybody else. It just is what it is.

Check out the figures I compiled from the 30 starting point guards from last season. You will note that nearly half the guards are averaging the so called "average" assist-to-turnover ratios you mentioned?

Even Nash has a 2.68 compared to Lin's 2.10, so he only beats Lin by one half of an assist. In fact, only three starting point guards averaged a 3.0 or high assist-to-turnover ratio, Jose Calderon, Chris Paul, and George Hill.

Guess what? The number 1 person with a 4.33 assist-to-turnover ratio starting point guard last year just got held to zero points tonight by Lin.

In fact, aside from the top 8 point guards on this list, the remaining point guards are only ahead of Lin by one half (1/2) an assist on the assist-to-turnover ratio. So I guess everyone on this list is an "average" starting point guard, starting from Nash down to Lin?

I really want to understand this.

    1. Harden gets off to a slow start last game. Turns out he was playing through 2 injuries. Post-game, he gets chided for being off and "ineffective." This is OK.
    2. Chandler has a pair of bad shooting nights. Many posters express concern about this, question whether he's feeling himself too much, concentrating too much on things outside of basketball. There's a thread from someone who has declared himself an LOF suggesting that he be benched in favor of Garcia. This is OK.
    3. Kemba Walker scores 6 pts. with Beverley on him. Turns out Bev played a portion of the 10 minutes he was in with a torn muscle sufficiently severe to require a minimum of two weeks off. Those 6 points though, are enough for people to question his defense and make declarations of, "Beverley who?" This is OK.
    4. It is acknowledged that Jeremy had a good game, but could stand to work on turnovers. This is not OK. This triggers extensive research and stat-pulling to show why Jeremy cannot be criticized. Jeremy cannot be criticized unless Chris Paul, who put up 4x the points and 5x the boards with the same number of turnovers, is equally criticized. No comments on Jeremy's turnovers allowed.

I'm sorry, but one of these things is not like the other. And it's tired.
