I know it is early. Just a little concerned with his mistakes. He is the best cutter and needs to play off-ball more. When he handles the ball, he tends to make mistake. Plus it takes away his favorite shot at corner.

I'm a Lin fan. This was unnecessary and disrespectful. Rejoice in the fact that we have two solid defensive players instead of bashing Bev. Plus no one can seriously defend good players 1v1, it takes a team. Just like in the preseason games, Lin was getting screened today, Calderon just didn't hit his shots. Also give some credit to the two defensive beasts in Howard and Asik. Blame McHale for benching Lin if you want, but Bev seems like a nice guy who hustles and gives his best effort every game and does not deserve this.

Other than that, I agree with most observations.

Overall OK. Good defensive effort, lots of steals and held Calderon scoreless. And he was pretty aggressive with the ball, which was needed because our offense was otherwise stagnating. He was also very careless with the ball, though, with 6 turnovers.

You have a point meh. A relentlessly aggressive JLin is the best JLin.
Props to Coach McHale for showing that trust in him today, cuz in the 3rd when the game was getting too close for comfort and he turned it over again I was expecting Coach to pull him but he stuck with him and finally Jeremy got it together. I could also see JLin trying to make up for his TO woes with his defense, which Coach must've also appreciated.

All of this, but especially the bolded. Nicely worded CXbby.

I agree with you. Try to be more subjective. Be respectful. Our players, especially PB, give it all on the court, at least we can do is to show respect. We can disagree with insulting.

Been a Rox fan for 12 years now, so I'm not an LOF, and I'm also not a LOH

Lin played very well in the first half, very aggressive, though most of it was penetrations which led to layups. Didn't get many assists. Played very well defensively. Calderon didn't score the entire game and his backup, Ellington, was 1 for 7; also Lin had three steals at the end of the game.

In the second half Lin was more passive. Whenever he penetrated--instead of finishing at the rim, he'd kick out. He made some nice passes but guys (particularly Parsons) couldn't finish. Only had 2 assists all game; and 6 turnovers. Missed some free throws (just like everyone else did). Overall you have to be happy with is performance but needs to tweak some things. With him and Bev in the lineup the PG position is fine, fine, fine...

Tonight, Lin is not playing like a wimp anymore...
The problem with him, too self-conscious... should have been more like Monta Ellis..

Ty you and Durvasa for telling me. I saw a few highlight clips and my friend told me he seemed really happy on the court. That's what I wanna see, him doing well and having fun out there.

the game I look forwad to most is...HOUSTON @ KNICKS...

I am less concerned with his shots and a little worried about the way he was playing. Maybe trying too hard? He needs relaxed more and cuts more.

I would go a step further and say that Beverly is showing Lin how to be a better one on one defender. Why? Because Lin said so himself in an interview.

    Exactly.
Despite what some posts around here would have you believe, I think the guys realize this team can be something really special.
I appreciate how enthusiastically they support each other. Those are the seeds that sow great chemistry and camaraderie.
I know a trade is still possible, maybe even likely, but I don't if I want to see any of these guys leave....not yet anyway

Jeremy said Bev is helping him become a better defender, and Bev said Jeremy is helping him offensively. Seems to be a great deal of mutual respect there.
