He wasn't. Did you not notice Howard out there?

Every time Calderon tried to turn a corner and use a pick from his big man, Lin was in his face defending the shot. And of course he wasn't gonna drive inside with D12 standing in the paint.

That statement is like a double edge sword

If he shot the ball people will be like "Lin you are not wide open pass it!".. Something like that

Extrapolates out to 14.4 points and 28.8 rebounds in 36 minutes. That's pretty good, but that's just like my opinion man.

That's the same line I've seen people used to describe Beverley's defensive style (obviously as a diss), hope you called out those fans too.

yeah yeah harden scored 30. But what was worth a second look is he scored 30 while pouring his heart out defensively, even D'd up Dirk that led to a turnover. If he does that every night, he will MVP for sure.

Just an average game for lin PG wise, but defensively..3 legit steals plus a deflection. He was on Calderon like shrimp on paella, only the other arabian prince scored a three ball on him and dalembear.

Casspi before the injury was huge too. We don't win without him.

Refs suck as always. What are we going to see next? Hack a howard in the 1st Q. lame!

I think Chandler needs to let his hair grow long. Short hair is killing his game. Obviously.

    Good:

    Harden playing like a God.
    Dwight's rebounds
    Lin's defense
    Casspi & Garcia

    Bad:

    Lin's turnover
    Parson's turnover
    Dwight's post moves
    The bench.
McHale (fell into every trap of Carlisle): no adjustment against zone defense, hack-a-howard & underwhelming the opposite bench players & the time left

Yes, defense is a team effort. They had Parsons on Calderon as well in the game.

But then the offense gets "sticky." Pick your poison.

    Stop complaining Lin's TO.

Harden has 4, Parson has 3.

Lin was hardly alone from having TO's tonight, but it seems all the criticism of our TO's is on his shoulders alone. Harden can have a great scoring night and have 6 TO's and not be called out on it, but Lin can have great defense and 6 TO's and be torched for it.

I truly believe that this is the year James Harden challenges Lebron James for the MVP award. This guy is unbelieveably good.

About to watch this when available in replay. Got off work late and missed it live. Just browsing through some of the comments, sounds like it was a turnover party and I should skip the 2nd half?

i hope ppl finally shut up about Lin's defense. he's an underrated defender, shut down calderon and still helped on defense.

Dwight's posts moves are ugly as hell, but still high percentage.

Lin needs to play like this. That's his game. Most turnovers came from aggressive drives. I'll take it. When he plays like this, good things happen. Screw the turnovers.

Harden played well other than turnovers. Lazy passes.

Parsons was misfiring but played within his game. I like it. His shots will fall.
