PPat is young and decent. Why aren't they picking up his option?

Same can be said for Vasquez. Is Isiah Thomas REALLY the answer for them at the 1? Vasquez is so underrated.

    Potential Morey scrap heap player?

They don't have options. Just letting them become restricted free agents (IMO the right move assuming they couldn't get them on a cheap extension).

Hard to feel bad, all three of those guys just earned in a couple of years more than 99.9999% of the rest of us will earn in our lifetimes.

I'd bet anything all three will get picked up somewhere.

    Would Morey take PPat back?

I actually prefer Casspi to Patterson. Both can shoot but Casspi can also drive to the basket.

Also, these guys are still with the Kings for another year so it's not they are out of a job. Pat and Vazquez are starters and will be restricted FA (wholly different contract situation than Jimmer). All 3 will have a year to earn their next contract.

I have never seen Jimmer do anything worth more than a 10th seat on the bench at best

I had concerns (with many others) on draft day and it has been verified.

I think he is going to struggle to get on another team.. maybe a tanker

No vacancy. The Rockets quota for pretty boys have been filled.

I remember coming out of College, Morey was real high on him and when asked who his favorite player was alluded to him. Not sure if he has any interest now but he will have his shot at him in the summer if desired.

Patterson and Vasquez are also options. Patterson could be picked up especially if Jones and Motiejunas fail to live up to expectations.

Let's get Jimmer just to spite Utah. Utah's hero at the end of the bench of their enemy.

Jimmer will be signed by Utah (no doubt in my mind). Its the mormon connection.
