    Hey Clutchfans,

So I needed help, and this is the first place I came (literally, after asking my fiancé to vote, this is where I came).

If you don't have time, I'm asking you to go here and vote for me. It uses your Facebook account, but they don't post anything at all on your page. The reason they check your friend count is to make sure you aren't a robot :)

If you have time, here is why I am asking for you all to vote for me:

Two years ago, I started a business named Do Amore Rings. It is one of the only social-based online jewelers in the world. I started Do Amore because I felt the spirit of marriage should be captured to make a difference in the lives of two others. This is why every Do Amore ring sponsors a water well and gives two people clean water for life. My rings are also among the most responsibly manufactured products in the world. 17 months in, we validated our concept with profitability and 100+ people socially impacted.

I have applied for sponsorship from Chase & Google, and I really think I will get it. Their sponsorship ($250,000) would mean a lot for my business, and the water-crisis. Please consider giving me a vote if you like what I'm doing. I have 4200 Fans on Do Amore's Facebook page, and think I can get about 150 votes from there. I am hoping Clutchfans will get me about 50 votes.

Go here and vote for me! Thanks ClutchFans!

Dude, when I first read the "I started Do Amore because I felt the spirit of marriage should be captured..." I rolled my eyes and wanted to laugh.

But then I read the rest. I'm going to look into your website/products. If you are legit, I'll give you my vote and refer some business to you.

MARRIAGE is something a lot of people irresponsibly take for granted and it's good to hear some of us are trying to keep it REAL. KUDOS for that, sir.

Thanks so much man. Means a lot! I totally understand why you wanted to laugh, haha. I'm still trying to perfect that pitch, but that's the truth!

Khimma do you have larger stones? More Expensive rings? I'm looking to buy an engagement ring, emerald cut, but I'm not looking at rings at that price level of $500-$1000. I'm looking more like 2-3 ct

I like your cause, I'd love to support something like that more than the giant amount I was going to pay at harry winston to support nothing

Hey, thanks a lot (and congrats on what looks like your upcoming proposal).

When you find an engagement ring on our site, click on "Pair with Diamond" and it should pull up a diamond search engine. There's a good chance you already know what you want the ring to look like, so if that's the case, just let me know (care@doamore.com or 8328004483). I made a ring just like this a few weeks ago and it looked perfect! Thanks again

haha khimma, I have a good friend of mine who works at harry winston in dallas and he set me up a private showing in dallas, I was kinda thrown back that a 3 ct emerald cut was $180k when on your site im seeing the pairing of a similar stone for $21K. Diamonds are all over the place and to me a rock is a rock and I dont think most people carry a loupe so quality isn't too high on my list of wants. I just want her to have a nice big rock haha

It sounds like you have a good business model but I am hesitant to vote for you because when I went to vote it said that Chase grants will have my public profiles and friends list. I support what you are trying to do but I don't know what Chase grants will be doing with my friend's list and don't want to subject my friends who may want nothing to do with this to get spammed.

I am going to put a post on my Facebook page and the Architecture for Humanity page telling my friends to check out your business.

Whoops I missed the part where you said why they check your friend count.

Wow, yeah. I remember looking at them a while back for fun. Their diamond/rings are beautiful. Not trying to sell you or anything, but we can definitely match all of that for a much better price. We know we don't have Harry Winston's brand recognition yet, and really want to appeal to every person in America, so we are priced the way we are.

With a shape like an Emerald, we also have a GIA consultant on staff that we would definitely use. He guides us on picking diamonds that maximize beauty and value. You don't need a flawless diamond because it is an absolute waste of money (unless you are a diamond collector, or a museum). I think the best way to pick a diamond is so that it looks great to the naked eye (not to the loupe).

Only about half the diamonds we have access to are on that search engine so if you give me the specs you want, I can find some that would work best (8328004483 or care@doamore.com).

Bro, aren't you worried someone will read all of this and know you are proposing?

Thanks so much for posting this! I wish I came on ClutchFans to post about this earlier. It's pretty awesome how an online sports forum can be so communal

I'll vote as soon as I get home from work. I saw one of your posts a while back for your company and I've been considering getting my girlfriend's ring from you (but I'll be honest... I'm a bit apprehensive about buying online!). It's a great concept! Good luck!

Thanks so much man! Thanks for being honest - it helps us a lot! That was one of the things I wrote about in the application for this grant (the challenge: creating trust for an expensive purchase through an online platform). Of course, assuming you're in Houston like I am, yours doesn't have to be online!

But hey, if I can help, I'd be more than happy to. Even if the ring isn't from me and you just want advice or help, I'd be more than happy to. I never thought I would live and breath engagement rings, but I do
