    Is the 22nd sold out?

I have tix to Foo Fighters on the 23rd, but I have no qualms doing back to back concerts, esp since I live so close to Verizon Wireless Theater.

As far as I know, neither show is sold out.

You know I'm going, baby. Got my tickets the morning they went on sale. Floor, which is general admission. My girlfriend, my crazy friends and I will be the ones in the front. Come say hi if you can beat the crowd.

Batman, I'm on the floor on the first night as well (Tuesday the 22nd). Perhaps we can get together for a pre-show shot o'whiskey?

Although Dylan is legendary, the chance of him being drunk and incoherent, or merely incoherent are far too great for me to get tickets for his show.

cagey: I've seen him maybe 25 times since 89. He seems less drunk and/or incoherent lately than he ever has over the last 14 years or so. Definitely worth it if you can afford it.

RocketManTex: I'd love to get a drink. May be better after than before. Will know better closer to the date. Shoot me an email at jnodler@infernalbridegroom.com.

Gotta agree with Batman on that one. Saw him at Vandy in 1989 and he was shaitfaced. He was four minutes into Watchtower before I even realized what he was singing, and thats one of my fave songs.

However saw him at rodeo last year and he seemed prety damn coherent, although he was dressed like Woody the Cowboy from Toy Story.

mateo: Glad you liked the Rodeo show. It was actually my least favorite of the past couple years, but it did beat the hell out of the ten years before that. I was disappointed though. The crowd and acoustics were incredibly bad and the set was horribly short. The show in Austin a couple days later was my favorite ever. Verizon should be fantastic.

I admit I haven't really been paying attention to his recent reputation concerning live gigs, so I will defer to those who have seen him recently. I have never seen him live because he was all I listened to for about 2 years straight at one time and I didn't want to spoil my opinion of him by seeing a sketchy live show.

The crowd, acoustics and short Rodeo set Dylan did last year at the Rodeo were bad.

The song selection, however, was fantastic...heavy on the country stuff.

These Verizon shows are going to be awesome for us Houston-based Dylanphiles. I can't wait until next Tuesday.
