Do you guys regret no trading Eddie for Rashard Lewis?

Eddie is a cheap comodity. If he ever pans out, he will be worth the money that the Rockets are willing to spend on him.

I still have some faith in Eddie. I remember last year when he went nuts for about a month and seemed like the player that we always wanted.

No, I think I'll wait till he turns into a Robert Horry type of PF, for a very very cheap price. R. Lewis is way too expensive considering he wanted a max contract, and an 18-8 SF who's never been an all-star does not deserve that kind of contract.

LOL. What player did Cato turn into this season? I am very sure when we signed him to that fat contract, we expected him to be more than just a productive benchwarmer.

Rashard's not that expensive. He didn't demand the max. His contract is just something like Taylor's, starting at 6-7m. And consider Rashard's age (only 23), he's worth it.

I am sure that when Griffin's contract is up next year, he will probably demand something similar considering his age and "potential".

Rashard thought he deserved the max. Where he got that from, I don't know, because he hasn't shown anything to deserve it.

If Eddie wants a contract like Taylor's, then he might as well just walk. If he has a 15pt-10reb-2blk season, then he we can consider giving him one.

We need an Avery johnson/ Chris child type of player for the minimum on our bench. To show YAo/ Griffin the ropes even Steve need a lot of learning to do.

Rashard Lewis and Kenny Thomas... anyday.
Look at the numbers that KThomas has been putting up in Phil. and then look at the numbers that EG has been putting up here in Houston lately.

We should've drafted Lewis back in '98. We had three picks in the first round, and we snubbed him. We blew it.
