if he's in the spot as Lin and he was performing better.. nope i'd wait until the season started for real games... the problem is he is not performing better so if PB was in Lin's spot i would have PB start and prove that he's not worthy to keep his starting spot.

 

So when Greg Popovich "benched" Manu Ginobili in favor of washed up Michael Finley was he a bad coach for not "making it work"?

so tell me how many games did he play before being benched? how many games did jeremy play this season before being benched? 0 yea thats right he didn't even get a shot to prove that he sucked or not.

 

I am not shedding any tears for Lin. He still got $25M in bank.

 

There is no room for that in Harden's team. We are better off with a better defensive player with a 3pt touch (perhaps a smaller size of one of the former Rocket?), rather than a ball-dominating bench combo guard.

how's that a terrible question / answer? i'm just scratchin my head here tryin to figure how some1 gets demoted by a buncher without having even played a single seasoned game none the less with a 25 mill contract.

 

So what you are saying here is that Manu was on the bench because he proved that he sucked? Because that is looks like from you using this comparison...

 

Don't get stuck on Lin being demoted to the bench. Think about how good he is going to look leading that unit. If Lin is putting up serious numbers during that time, people will notice, just like they noticed him during the Linsanity stretch.

For the team, the important part will be that he is taking a point in time where they would lose ground to the opposing team, and turning it into another opportunity to extend the lead. It will be fun to watch.

 

u guys really are hard headed eh? im sayin jeremy was never given a chance to do anything this season to warrant his benching... see how well the team + him reacts to it... it's kinda like "hey parsons" we are benching you because casspi is doing better than u during the pre-season... in that situation say parson really does suck for a month 5 ppg or something then they'll swap him with a bencher.

 

Manu closes out games. Lin did not even when he was the starting PG. He is not going to play a 6th man type of game. He is there to provide the "sparks". He is a regular bench player, that's all. We will go to Harden ISO and Howard, not PnR, when the game is close. Without a major change, Lin will be gone next year.

BTW: If Harden and Howard's PnR does not work out, we will be no better than the Lakers.

 

*Toney Douglas was closing out games... that was when i was like wtf is going on? then he was doing it with PB.. then i was like ok next season Lin is going to be benched.. yep it came true.

James Harden got picked 3rd..no one picked Dwight, so I took him at 12 although he's ranked like 35 for some reason. This move sucks because now my fantasy team sucks with Lin in it, hell even Parsons got ranked 50th. Lin is 70ish, should be near 100 now.

Will Beverley last 82 games in his first season playing full time?

my opinion? no he will not.

his plays are going to regress.

Rockets "fans" (I use that term loosely becuz many of you are NOT) have to be the dumbest fans on town

Jeremy Lin got OUTPLAYED. Plain and simple. Linbis not some type of star player who's starting spot is guaranteed. If you are a role played and are being outplayed by your competition, you lose your spot, plain and simple. bev put in the work and bested over the summer. Lin will make a nice spark off the bench and bev will throve with the starters

 

He's already proven hes a slightly above average PG with a saturation of good PGS in the league, if you factor in injury/adjustment.

Stop being so negative, it's not good for your well being babez

 

This Manu analogy is waaay overdone. One guy who didn't start was Manu. 99% of guys who don't start are just bench players. So far the odds are much greater that Lin's a bench player rather than 6th man of the year.

 

Lin had better stats, outplayed what? because bev was more energetic and had .3 more steals? cool good one.
