Since I agree with you, this is quibbling, but...

that would be one vote from one 'expert'. Not the best evidence.

    Neither do you.

The PG starting issue is nowhere nearly as important as the PF starting issue. The Harden/Beverley/Lin rotation will work fine no matter how you shuffle it. Not so with the PF thing.

    So?

Do you think Popovich would give an inch of advantage to the Sixers?

I would question the coach if he reveals information that benefits the opposing team, even if the opposing team is a lottery bound team.

Yes, this is exactly how I feel! This team is now in a position to really start something.

Lin is a nice player and a great person, but some Lin fans keep bringing him down by posting the nonsense. The coach is doing his job to win the games, he can put Lin into the starting line again if the team is going to struggle.

Our PF situation is pretty much the same as our PG situation. Either player(Jones, D-Mo, Smith, Casspi) can be shuffled in and out of the line-up and it wouldn't matter.
The team is just that good with Howard and/or Asik out there. IMO, the Rockets are a season too late in addressing the PF position with the players they already had.

    NOW officially confirmed. :)

My ultimate hope is D-Mo put on some 7-footer big boy pants. But right now...I would take any of these guys if they just show something consistent.

    Hilarious. Repped.

Good, great. Never said it was only from ball-handling duties, but that his skills there are elite and should be staggered with Harden.

Bolded: what Jeremy Lin can do with the 2nd unit and flourish, and what he would not do in the first unit with Harden and Dwight. Thank you for helping out my argument even further.

Have you played basketball at a high level? How many people have repeated over and over that it is not a demotion? If he plays bad, then it can become a demotion, like every player that plays bad gets demoted.

    Repost for good info.

Sam Cassell off the bench reference?

Haven't you heard? Lin is the team!

Wait one second: playoffs matter??? :p

How could you forget Casspi!?!?!??! Dwight only Fan right here ;)

He was talking based on the roster in the playoffs last year. Basically, the Rockets added Dwight, and everybody else has stayed healthy over the offseason. Obviously, it is not about Lin or even Asik.

Why does he have to say publicly why he chose Goran? Isn't it pretty obvious that Dragic was just playing better after Lowry returned? We as fans don't see the practice, where the majority of personnel decisions are made.

    It's confirmed!

    Beverley / Harden / Parsons / Howard / Asik

4 of those 5 starters are our best individual defenders.

    What a beastly defensive line-up.

With Harden committing to defense this year, WATCH OUT.

Regarding this whole Lin as 6th man issue, refer kindly to my signature.

It's not going to increase his trade value, nor advance his career. But sacrifices must be made for the team.

Bev was going to start whether we had Dwight or not. Lin was always better as a 6th man on this team.

    LOL HAHA.

    This cracked me up.

Imagine if we could keep teams to 10 point first quarters.

In all honesty though, I feel a little sorry for the Bobcats playing against us.
