It's like peeing into the snow in a dark winter night. It might have made a difference, but it's hard to tell.
what's the point of even voting. There are clearly more people on some type of handout than those who work. The handout earners clearly want more freebies so they can continue on the path of worthlessness they lead so democrats will own every election from now till eternity. It's just not even worth my time to go try and vote when a portion of my city thinks sheila jackson lee is a good politician.
rocketman we're too busy watching our stock portfolios rise and our property values soar to care about voting. What's an extra few % in taxes when your net worth is booming thanks to bernanke pumping up the stock market. The democrats are the ones suffering and who can't find jobs, Im rolling in money over here as are most others in the upper echelon
As others posters noted you are doing early voting. Also as others noted non-Presidential election years the turnout plummets. It's kind of sad though because your vote is much more likely to make a difference in a local election than a state election.
Early vote numbers actually look good. http://blog.chron.com/houstonpolitics/2013/10/strong-early-voting-totals-set-new-mark-in-fifth-day/
