It's a tough pill to swallow to miss out when we're so close. It's been a tough year, everyone seems to be against us and soooo many ups and downs. First is was Ming's gonna be a bad pick, China wont let him come and we're screwed for drafting him. Then its he's a bust, look how he fell after Marbury crossed him over. Then ppl started to jump on the bandwagon as we went 15-10 and there's NO way we'd missed the playoffs, lets try to hold on to that third spot in the west, look we have the missing piece, a damn good center. Then ppl started to jump off the bandwagon as the Rox started to get into slump, hmm maybe Ming's not getting enough touches now, its all the guards fault, burn them on a stake, BURN. Then the Ming hits the rookie wall and ppl were like, there's no way Rox are in the playoffs now. Tim Legler and Tim Hardway both wrote off the Rox's playoff chance on national tv. But in 2 weeks Ming smashed the wall, the guards started passing better and we are up 2 games with like 15 to go and a easier schedule than the suns. We were sooooooooo confident we were going to make it. Then Rudy got sick and the rest is history.

Like I've said its hard pill to swallow, so much pain inside me right now, but part of me just can't wait till next year, even if nothing changes. But if Dawson and Co can work out another miracle again, I'd be happy. Note I said miracle, meaning a good good trade, not Mobley + Griffin for a bag of chips crap. When the rest of the games, go out with your head held high, and deny the grizz Lebron to the best of your ability. I'll be cheering and waiting till next year.

I second this. I haven't been a Rockets fan for long, but I've never been prouder of such a young team having this much of a successful season by showing a very promising future for Houston. Good job Rockets!

40+ wins is great for a team that is winning due to sheer talent. If they could play something that resembled an organized offense other than iso,

I guarantee you the last two games will be as ugly as, well, the Rockets offense. Some people will try to do everything to up their stats.

If they help Ming to get more pt and rb for his ROY race, maybe that's one good outcome. Oh forget about it, Coach Dumbars will put him on the bench.

Despite the fact they didnt make the play-off, I am happy knowing that they will finish over .500. It is a START! Ming is starting to get comfortable with this team, and Francis and others are starting to realize what kind of a door Ming can open for them. All we can do is hope they come back hungerier next year.! I am PROUD of our Rockets and our coaching staff, despite what many may say! We can't become Champions OVER NIGHT. I want to hold a DYNASTY not just be a one year wonder!

Yeh, Sounded a little conflicting. "People would do .... to up their stats" actually meant " to up their ownstats". If they help their teammates' stats, that's good. :)
