If the Astros want to profit they should put a better product on the field and they shouldn't have done stupid crap like shifting conferences that alienates their fanbase. Astros suck!

The Astros didn't choose to change leagues (it's leagues, not conferences, learn a little about MLB before you spout off). The commissioner forced it on them as a condition of the sale of the franchise.

Me either .... tho I kinda hope they lose 100+ games every year that Jim Crane owns the team.

I haven't watched a single pitch since he bought the team and have no intention of doing so in the future. The move to the AL was bullsh!t , MLB should have moved Bud Selig's Brewers back instead of a team that has a long history in the NL.

This TV mess is just the icing on the cake for me ....

No freaking clue .... but I doubt its going to get us Rockets games televised on other channels. We're screwed until they get this distributed to other networks,

Potentially, this could blow up the whole CSN Sports Network and allow us to watch rockets games again sometime in the future.

That part strikes me as quite funny. A) sad that is how they view it, "This is the only way we could have been profitable"

    b) How did you not think of that in the first place? It's like they did everything exactly wrong.

Step one: join with Rockets to create network that provides huge revenues if they can strong arm all providers, otherwise, no one gets to see games and fans are resentful.

Step two: Stink up the league, right after making huge changes , forced and otherwise.

Step three: Complain about how much money they are making while having one of the lowest payrolls ever, yet act like because they are pro sports teams, there is no difference between them and the rockets in both current state of affairs.

    Step Four: Profit?

Rockets, pull out, go back to Fox. Astros, have fun with your very own network.

Honestly, the Astros have been holding up the issue from the jump, they haven't budged on what they want due to it being comparable to other teams that have networks and the providers aren't willing to pay mainly because the Astros haven't done enough to warrant it.

I don't mind CSN Houston, but if it has to die for me to see more Rockets and Dynamo games on TV, then the channel should die.
