You seem to be trolling, so I shouldn't even bother, but if you had wanted to start a productive thread, you could have titled the thread: "McHale voted one of best offensive coaches. Do you agree?" You could have then listed the reasons why you disagree that he is a good offensive coach.

Instead, you deliberately misinterpreted the source, setting off a flame war. People called you out on your bad thread title, and you got angry, which only made things worse. I don't care if you are a girl or a boy, from Dallas or Damascus, but your thread is worthy of criticism.

Rudy T was the King of iso's. the league had to change the rule when he had either Mobley or Francis on one side of the floor while the rest was on the other side so they can go one on one. This offensive set is now illegal in the league and it was all due to Rudy.

 

Inefficient? That offense got them a 45-37 record - the highest winning record to not make the playoffs. Bear in mind it was those 2 with a bunch of scrubs. It was very effective that the league had to ban it because it was boring to watch due to very little ball movement

 

McHale has had some of the least Head Coaching experience of all the current Head Coaches not counting guys that were just Assistants at their last jobs before becoming head coaches.

He really hasn't proved or shown much as a coach to be considered one of the best coaches, you'd really have to be a homer to consider it otherwise.

Anyway can anyone tell me people thought Pop was amazing in his 1st years? Not many he started slow in his 3rd year and almost got fired... SPurs won their 1st that year.

McHale has had TWO straight winning seasons with little talent and an insane amount of turnover. IMO McHale is looking pretty damn good.

 

Everything you just said here could very truthfully apply to Harden as well. By that token, when Harden is given the ball to create for the offense, by your definition, we should not call it "iso".
