Heypartner, Behad, Smeggy, Jeff, or whoever else is going to the game tonight...

Had a great time guys. Major thanks to heypartner for organizing & hosting the event.

I finally got to meet some folks in person I've wanted to for years, but could barely a muster a "oh, hey man." Being shy sucks.

Anyway... The pickup game was a blast. I got a point, I'm happy.

The barbeque was pretty cool, didn't eat anything outside of the quesadillas, but they rocked.

The game was great, nothing better than watching the Sonics get spanked. Manny made some pretty funny remarks. Got to take my picture with Nachbar after the game too.

Anyway, it was great meeting everybody! Hope I didn't come off as a snob or anything, just extremely shy with people until I get better acquainted with them.

Smeg needs to come here more often.

 

Yep, thats me! Im doing good. Behad sometimes sends links to me from this board when the topic gets "interesting". He's mentioned you a couple of times. I think he likes you.

You're home already? Guess you guys didnt hang at heyp's for too long..

I saw the traffic backed up to the 45 split, and said screw that..I only had about a half hour to spare and I wasnt going to waste it in traffic.

It wasnt till I got home that I realized heyp left Smeg's bball in my backseat. So hopefully I can make it tomorrow..we are going to have to work out how to get it back.

Lets just say that everyone I met was really cool......especially Smeg's lovely wife...

I think Chicken Boy is somebody we've seen before.

I want to talk about the game.

I think I did well. I played some good D. I think the Rockets should trade Moochie Norris, or cut him, and sign me up to play back up point guard. I was willing to pass. I went 3-2 that day.
My best unit was Myself, Ron413, Trader_George, Criscokidd, and one of the zzhiggins. It was the bald guy with the drunk shirt. Criscokidd is the man. For reals. I've played ball with him twice now. The dude doesn't stop.

I remember Smeggy lighting it up from the outside in the fourth and sixth game. I had to check him a few times. I think I did a decent job on him.

I threw an alleyoop sorta to Sonny. It was nice.

I tipped the ball in over everybody. I think I was the shortest guy in there other than The Cat and AntiSonic. I think they may have been shorter than me.


Who was there when they saw me jack it from like four feet from three point range? I trade to make a high looking arch, and it hit the damn ceiling.

My favorite shot of the game was when I stopped and popped it from the three point line. That was great. Like Running Raven said in a post, the talent wasn't that bad.

Infact the talent was pretty damn good, we could assemble a team, and play the Phx Suns fan bbs team and kick their ass, and let the Rockets in the playoffs.

Tonaaayyyyy - didn't get to meet you man. I am sure I saw you though. I had a blue cut off nike shirt on with black nike shorts. Bigger guy with short hair, shot from the outside some and mixed it up down low. I came in for B at the end of one game and nailed a 3.

He (Tonnnnnayyyyyy) was the dude walkin with me when i said bye to you after the game.

I didn't know you had a fly ass Camaro.

 

Ohh yea I remember Sonny. Sonny was the big guy helping us with the rebounds and tip-ins keeping us close in the game. I think we lost that game. I sucked pretty bad that day. Sorry for the lost guys but it was all good and fun.
