The most disgusting part is... The Suns deserve it. They've played with hunger and desire, and have defeated some really really hard teams.

We don't deserve it. When it came to crunch time, we played with no heart at all.

    so disappointing.

Amare gets ROY by this game alone. Amazing to watch.

Pheonix deserves it . They proved who wanted it more. Rockets star players folded and died when it counted. Well, here's hoping Rockets will have change for the better next year. Rocket blood flow through my veins. Too bad it didn't flow thru the Rocket's players this year. :(

    :(

I don't know how I feel... Why do the Rockets put us through all of this?

Well next year, the only team that has a chance of slipping out of the playoffs is the Utah Jazz; which means that the last spot will be between the Rockets, Suns, and Sonics. God, we need to make some changes this summer.

While I agree with you completely, let's not hold our breath on those changes...well those changes that *need* to happen anyway. :(

droxford is right. But the thing that bothers me is that we have beaten the SAME teams during the season. Phx has beaten Minn, Dallas, and SA in the span of 8 days. We have beaten Minn twice, SA once, and unfortunatly, none to Dallas. But we have been beating playoff quality teams, Sixers, Pacers, SAC, LA twice, Portland, etc... Phx was lucky to play Dallas during their slump and we are just sitting at home again watching the playoffs from home. Whats going to bother me even more is that PHX is going to lose their next 2 and we are going to win our next 2, which we would be one game from the playoffs and start looking back at the games we shouldve won and we wouldve been in the postseason. :(

I hate playing the "What If" game. :(

Yeah those amzing 10 pts even changed my mind from Yao to Amare for ROY...

If they want to choose who should win it, they should look no further than who has impacted their team, the league, and the fans the most.

Yao has defenses geared toward stopping him, he has the respect of every single player in the league, and he has the fan count of China.

Amare isn't even the Sun's third option, teams never double team him, and fans love him because of his dunks.

By those standards, Yao has him beat by a long shot.

I am just saying that he had a great game when they needed it.

I'd rather have changes in attitude than in actual players being traded.

If we could get a starting line-up that really wanted to win, then we wouldn't have to worry about NOT making the playoffs.

There's no gaurantee the Rox will win the last 2. They didn't show up to play when it mattered the most. I wonder how they play when it's doesn't matter at all?

Man, give Phoenix props for playing their way into the playoffs. They deserve it.

I hope that this is the last year we miss the playoffs.

:( I can't believe it. We are officially eliminated. The Spurs had an 11-game winning streak entering this game and they blow it to the Suns. What bullsh*t. I hate the Spurs from now on and everytime they come to Houston, I am going to boo their ass off and make them feel like the most unwelcomed team in the NBA. I actually thought the Spurs were going to cruise in this game. The Spurs actually wanted to lose this game on purpose just to eliminate the Rockets. I bet the Spurs really must hate the Rockets. Why else would they have a 11-game winning streak snap so suddenly and why else would they shoot so poorly, not to mention have a 9-game road winning streak snapped as well. The free-throw shooting was horrible too for the Spurs(14-24). The Spurs HAD to lose this game. They couldn't just blow out this team like they have done MANY, and I mean MANY, other teams. (The Rockets were victims to it many times) I think for the Rockets to enter the playoffs, one of the other Texas teams need to be out of the playoffs. I just wished it happened this year. (I prefered San Antonio being out this year) The Rockets also did their part by gently handing the Phoenix Suns an invitation to the playoffs. Just like saying, "Hey Phoenix, we don't want to the be in the playoffs so we'll let you get in if you'll accept. We hope you do." Losing MANY games DOWN THE STRETCH(Going a disgraceful 6-9 since being 35-30 and well into the playoffs) and having horrible losing streaks and games DOWN THE STRETCH proves that the quote above is most likely true. They shouldn't have even been fighting for a playoff position. They were about the #4 seed with about 30 games played and they shouldve improved from then on.

Or could it be that the Suns have been playing really well over the past 6 games? Not everything is a conspiracy, and if winning 11 games in a row meant you were GUARANTEED to win the next game, then there would be many more undefeated teams in the history of the NBA than....uhhh....sero??

I think you are speaking out of the frustration we all feel right now. Who would've thought the drought between playoff appearances would last this long? Not me. I forget what it's like to at LEAST be first round fodder for a top seed, and i miss feeling like just MAYBE, if things go right, my team has a chance to win it all. The bottom line, though, is that we can look back through the schedule and find 6 - 8 games we should have won. Sure, we beat some great teams this year, but there are about 6 games we had no business losing, and that's what cost us the playoffs as much as we sucked down the stretch. If you play down to your competition on a consistent basis, YOU are not a playoff team. At least not this year....

"Maybe next year" is a cruel, cruel statement in the world of sports....:(

    **** SAN ANTONIO.

    **** THE ROCKETS FOR SUCKING.

Two pivitol losses: First game agisnt Phoenix this season that I knew would come into play down to the wire.

The game against the Wizards. "Goal-tending". Stupid refs, just giving Jordan the call.

    Most of all, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

Stupid trade for Posey. KT would've been better THIS season. BUT Posey better suits this team for the future.

Another long wait, so utterly pathetic.

    GO ROSTER CHANGES!!!
