I just dont know what to say. This feeling of apathy again. 4 years in a row now. Griffin was a huge disapointment this year.
its hard to blame Steve too, i mean he hit chingos of big shots. Umm Inconsistancy was horrible as well. If Houston can learn not to be so freakin incosistant, we got a shot at the playoffs next year. If we dont make the playoffs next year, then some major changes have to go down. Yao needs to get 20-25 shots a game next year. If he does daaaamn. He needs to work on bulking up and maybe those low post moves alittle more, i mean theres always room for improvement.

I have to admit I was pretty disappointed with the last couple of losses, but having looked at the standings, even if we had won them, we'd still be behind Phoenix. The way they're playing, they may win the next two games too. It seems likely we would have been out of the playoffs anyway.

I can't believe the paper said Rudy's really excited about next year. He's not going anywhere guys so let's hope for some personnel changes. Maybe one new guy with the clout and experience to tell Rudy where to put his ISO BS. Coaches who think a 1 on 1 play is the best opportunity to score in the NBA shouldn't coach. How about getting layups and open shots!

My first year on the BBS, wonder what happens in the summer? No activity?

Well, it's time to finally give Boki his long-dued playing time. Start Boki for the next two games!

    Dear Francis,

Are you in PAIN? Are you crying?

    Let it burn!

    Let it sting!

Message to Francis (our supposed "leader.")

We'll see if you put in the work this off-season to learn how to get your teammates involved and cut your turnovers down! Francis, there's a skill called "passing" that helps your teammates. Heard of it?

Please leave the gangsta-playground ball at home!

Marburry is laughing at you right now! Remember when he said that he was the "real" All-Star? Let it burn!

And we'll see if you dedicate yourself to "making your teammates better" and actually "leading" this team. Not just trying to score the most points!

lets just watch the spurs destroy the suns in the playoffs, our only redemption because either us or the suns would get destroyed by them

I think that it is clear that the best this current team can ever become is a mediocre team (6-7th seed in the west and a first round exit). We don't want a team like that. We need CHANGES, big changes that can make us a contender instead of a mediocre team.

    Well! It is over!!

Nothing can change that. Suns desreves it. They are playing well.

Hopefully, the ROX will learn a lesson and improve themself.

There are still 2 games left in this season.
I hope they play hard as a team with dignity.

A beautiful day turns into a sickening night.

A Rocket fan, all Rocket fans, putting all their hopes in the Spurs.

One of, if not our chief rivals. And personally to me, the most hated. For seven years I lived in San Marcos, the career student plan at Southwest Texas State. San Marcos, being a mere 50 miles from SA is considered Spur country, although there are some Rocket stongholds. For 7yrs 90-97 (particularly the 2 years you and I know and love so well) I and my Rocket band of friends ruled the one and only sports bar in San Marcos, Draft Choice. A lotta smak talked, especially on our road trips to the Alamodome whenever the Rockets were in town. The "crown jewel" of the rivalry, so to speak, in 95 when we beat the Spurs in the conference finals and Robinson found out who his real daddy was, The Dream. I and my friends talked so much s**t that year we almost got into several fights, with people we knew, lol.

So here we are with our hopes riding on the Spurs of all teams, hoping they can beat the Suns. I didnt watch the first half on purpose so that I could limit the amount of actual time I would be rooting for the Spurs. Excuse me while I vomit. So the Spurs keep it within striking distance the whole second half, then lose. Delivering the Rockets their fate of 4 straight years of being out of the playoffs.

Very very dissapointing to not be in the playoffs, just makes me shake my head and sigh in disgust.

Something needs to be done to shake this team up in the offseason.

And are we not getting our 1st round pick this year? If so, that makes me even sicker right now.

Started off such a great day, eating crawfish and drinking beer at Sams Boat, sunny weather, met some females, go home to watch the second half of the game....then BAM!! Upper cut right to your jaw! You get to root for the spurs tonight and get eliminated from the playoffs AGAIN!!!!

A Very Pissed Off Rocket Fan

    Alex

    You are right.

The Spurs had over 20 turnovers tonight.
The Spurs will figure out how to attack the inside once the guards start hitting their outside shots.

I hate to say it, but the best team won. The Suns have been playing great basketball lately--beating both Dallas and San Antonio within a week. They deserve the eighth spot. We may look good on paper, but they've looked good on the court, and that's all that matters.

Right Rudy having bladder cancer wasn't an injury and didn't distract him or the team at all. He had what he thought was a freaking bladder infection for months, can you even fathom how distracting that would be? Then he and the team find out he has cancer down the stretch...lets fire him and trade the team.

It was just as well that we didn't make the playoffs. I am tired of the Rockets missing the playoffs every year now, but if we had gotten in, we would have gotten destroyed by the Spurs.

Plus if we had made it, there would have been this false feeling of security that nothing is wrong with this team.

Well, nothing can be further from the truth....this team needs a PF who will rebound and someone who can handle the ball so Francis can worry more about scoring than being a playmaker, something that he has had a hard time doing it.

Doc Rocket posted in this thread and no one even noticed...

I have a similar type feeling...
