The theme that emerged during the five victories came to the forefront in Houston's most recent outing. Following an uncharacteristic loss to the Celtics, coach Rudy Tomjanovich challenged his players to get back to their winning ways against a tough opponent. On Sunday, Houston traveled to Miami to face the Heat. The Rockets came out blazing and routed the cold Heat for much of the game. Then, when Miami cut the lead to just three points, Houston held on for a 91-80 victory. Many inexperienced teams would have folded when the Heat clawed back, but Houston stayed focused. "It was a game we had to win," said Rockets guard Cuttino Mobley, who led the team with 21 points. "This is a very, very, very big victory. It was a playoff game to us. This shows signs of maturity. Instead of dwelling on the Boston loss, we got two out of three on the trip." What the Rockets really want now is respect. And if Rudy T can continue to motivate his guys the way he has, opponents will begin to give the Rockets the deference they deserve. And Steve Francis' 20-point plus average and 6.6 assists per game over Houston's last five wins doesn't hurt either. "Guys want respect. They want to be known as a great team," Tomjanovich said. "We have to get away from that, `You're young. We love the way you play,' and not getting results. We had so many moral victories last year -- `Boy, you played those guys good but still didn't win it. Now it's time to go out and take responsibility. If you want to talk about being a playoff team, let's start today. Win this game. If you win these kinds of games, you have a chance to be in the playoffs.'" Youth is too often used as an excuse in this league, but the Rockets have beenab showed the rest of the NBA that Houston is ready to battle the veteran squads of the league and come out on top. In the Western Conference, where older players reign supreme, the Rockets may be able to fly under the radar and surprise the more mature teams. 11/27 16:20:27 ET ------------------ Rockets Season Ticket Holder
For some reason, I thought this was really funny. from the article: beenab?!? beenab?!? So, even if "beenab" is a typo, what was that sentence supposed to mean? I can't figure out any one or two words that make sense. "beenab" must have some greater significance. I must solve the mystery of "beenab". I checked out the original URL and the same typo exists there (now). So, I think to myself... Have I fallen prey to some new, sophitiscated marketing campaign? Is beenab the some of some new .com? Shrewd marketers are seeding sports stories with URLs in the form of typos?!? So, I say, OK, lets open www.beenab.com... And it turns out to be some free domain registered with by namezero.com. I imagine someone was struggling to find an open .com for a free registration and ended up with beenab. case closed
