Remember, this same guy also did a piece saying Isiaah Thomas (Sac guard) is better than Irving

Gasol is a heck of a player and we actually tried to grab him in RFA but 32 teams out of 32 are going to take Dwight if they have the choice. Anyone making the case for Gasol is a Grizzlies fan or a Dwight hater.

Can't believe, Gasol is sooo much better than Dwight at defending the isolation! It seems to me it doesn't include post ups. So that means isolation facing the basket, by other centers or guards? It'd be interesting to see what Asik's stat is for this category.

He was saying not to disregard IT's individual season. He obviously knows that defenses are centered at stopping Kyrie.

I said this last year, I love Marc Gasol's game. Fantastic jumpshot and a great defender to boot. I don't think you could go wrong between either center.

I totally agree. Gasol is a great player and any team would be glad to have him... unless that team already already has Howard. Gasol is 2nd best... and even in a down/injured season for Dwight he puts up better numbers. I'm frankly tired of everyone talking about how Dwight really isn't the best center in the league or is super overrated... The guy is and will continue to be the best, whether or not he can hit his FT's or improve his post game. Not saying he shouldn't try and do both of those things.

I think it depends on which DH you get. Orlando Howard was pretty much the 2nd best player in the league, and was arguably more valuable than LBJ because he's a center rather than a PF/SF. Obviously, MG was miles ahead of DH last season.

Gasol's stats don't tell how good his game is, in fact it's the opposite since he plays with ZBO who's also a good scorer and rebounder. He's just a complete player, I don't think you can go wrong with either DH or MG.

I remember that. He made some good points in that piece.

    I didn't watch the link,

If you think back to the end of the last year when we lost to the Lakers, that was all Howard. His D was amazing, we didn't have any problems at all like that when we played Memphis.

Even with their salary difference, I'll take Dwight anytime!
