Personally I have ATT U-verse internet 12Mbps, U300, 113 dollars per month, everything included.

I think I paid too much without being able to watch the Rockets. My one-year term will be up in 50 days. Should I look at other options?

ATT U-Verse Internet is 24mbps, U-100, 3 DVR's, router, and modem. $109 a month. Obviously we went for the more expensive internet and cheaper TV package. We wanted main channels with HD. Still cheaper than Comcast. Although, we will discount service since it will become $180 out of contract next October. Comcast won't be much cheaper and if it is, it's for 6 months.

Are you in Houston? I only get 18mbps on internet and I have max plus. Anyways, I literally just got off the phone with Uverse to sign another contract. Here's what I got-

U450 with 4 boxes plus the main DVR, free HD, Palladia and the highest speed internet for $139.00/Month. I also received NBA League Pass for $75.00 instead of the $189 it usually costs. They're not wanting to lose customers, so now I pray something happens so I can watch my team. In no way did I want the hassle of Comcast back in my life.

    I think it's a good deal.
I also have Uverse 300 and 12Mbps Internet
I pay $145 total after all taxes but that is with 3 additional receivers that add on $21

My one year is up in January. I am gonna try to re-negotiate the discount rate again. I shopped around before getting UVerse and this was the best deal. Comcast sucks and came out to be more expensive and with Satellite you have to get internet separately.

Actually the modem is theirs and the router is mine.
So, I could save another $6/mo if I wanted to.

However, I'd have to say the price isn't worth it. I'll be downgrading to 30mbps because I never get the full 50mbps here. Only get around 21mbps~ on average.

I have Comcast with HD channels and NBA TV and NFL Network and 50 mbps down internet for 125 with taxes.

However my speed test says I only get 26 mbps. Should I downgrade to the 25 mbps for 10 dollars less? How much less should I expect my internet to slow down by? If it only goes down to 20 mbps then I think I will downgrade.

My guess is it won't slow down. My dad has the 20mbps connection and he gets 30mbps~ on average. If your connection is maxing out at 26, I don't think getting 25 will hurt you at all.

Probably has more to do with the NIC's of your devices than anything, especially on wireless. You only get 21mbps when plugged in via ethernet?
