Can we please get the MTV-X channel back? Why the hell did they discontinue this digital cable channel in favor of MTV Jams? Do we really need MORE rap videos on TV?

I vote to discontinue the playing of rap videos where the entire video is just a bunch of dudes flashing jewelry, gold teeth, expensive cars, 40s, and chicks with fat asses bouncing around.

Wow! thats one helluva list!
I have seen about 95% of em in my lifetime, but alot of them havent been played since they were new.

I don't suppose you know if they are going to do that again anytime soon, do you?

I hope that the vid rippers in the newsgroups caught some of that stuff.

What a great addon to my collection that would be!.

There's nothing finer in life than a handful of luscious booty in the right hand and a bottle of MD 20/20 in the left.

Better late than never. Last weekend was great. I spent the majority of time in front of the TV remembering the metal years. It was headbangers ball all over again.

I think it's funny that metalheads talk about watching MTV all weekend and then wonder why they have reputation as losers? ;) (hey, I used to be a metalhead myself, but cured myself via couch therapy by Beavis and Butthead and exposing myself to other music).

...I have exposed myself to other genres of music all my life, I just keep listening to metal also..
It makes me feel good and i enjoy the hardcore riffing that is a basis for all that should be called metal.

Doesnt make me a loser(tho I would never spend all weekend watching tv, I would have taped it if I had known about it)...

It is a commonly held fiction that you must quit listening to it if you are to "grow up"...
Bah, I say, I will still be listening to it when I am old and grey.

and also to jazz fusion and southern rock and classic rock on alternating days. matter of fact, I will listen to anything but country.

btw, pay attention..it wasnt on MTV, they would never have to good taste to play vids like that these days.;)
