he was one of the top center in the east last season, and this season, he sucks, i thought he would play better after got traded to seattle, and he still can not get his min..
He appears to be crashing on his new contract drive...but, he's tall. So, he'll get some love, I'd guess. Rumored to be a clubhouse cancer, BTW.
Noticed that when I was at the game, I was like damn, he hasnt played yet but Booth and James does. Im sure he will get plenty of love in the offseason when he becomes a free agent. Would be interesting if he goes back to the Lakers.
I do not know about Campbell being a clubhouse cancer, but I do believe that he has excellent hands and is a decent passer. If the Rox move Cato, I feel he's worth some portion of the MLE to backuop Yao Ming.
He'll want mroe then the MLE. He's probably looking for a contract that will allow him to play the last few years of his career and get paid pretty handsomely.
He can look for whatever he wants. What he'll find is beyond me. Might his old boss, the one who traded him, liable to bring him to Elvistown?
Exactly! Cato has decent trade value these days with his play, especially for an Eastern Conference team. If the Rockets could move Cato to obtain another guard or swingman then using the MLE on someone like Campbell as the backup center would be ideal. I am a bit surprised that Campbell hasn't been able to crack the Sonics rotation. Seems that Drobnjak and Jerome James are playing the center spot and Radmonovich is playing the backup PF spot.
I believe the Sonics said they'd be playing the guys that would be with the team next season, not someone who's definitely gone like Seldom, er, Elden.
Exactly -- it's the same thing the Warriors did last year with Larry Hughes after the trading deadline.
