http://espn.go.com/nba/ First to break the news I personally think a little to high but what yall think?
I agree with their top 3. If Harden plays like the 4th best player in the league this year, I will have an erection that lasts for 82 games. And no, I will not consult my physician.
The ranking is spot-on. If Rose and Westbrook return to form after their injuries, and if Harden returns to his matador defense of last season rather than the at-least-I'm-trying-to-defend OKC version, maybe, maybe we can debate this a year from now.
I would take Harden over Chris Paul. I know everyone loves Paul, but I like guys that can get theirs without being ball dominant. There are only 2 players I would trade Howard or Harden for and they will be the top 2 on this list. Guys that dominate the game without dominating the ball.
Jumping the gun. Harden could have shaved. Chris Paul could have grown a beard, FYI they don't take long to grow. Sheeesh
I agree with taking Harden over Paul, not for your reason though. He is healthier, bigger, and younger. This isn't a ranking on who you'd build your franchise around or Bill Simmon's trade value rankings, but rather where they are today in relation to other players in the NBA (if you had them essentially just this season). To me #4 seems more than fair for that.
Who is the best shooting guard in the NBA? 1. James Harden, Houston -- 56.7% 2. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers -- 20.0% 3. Stephen Curry, Golden State; Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City; Paul George, Indiana -- 6.7% 6. Dwyane Wade, Miami -- 3.3% Last year: Kobe Bryant -- 66.7% http://www.nba.com/news/2013-14-nba-gm-survey/index.html?cid=nba_12_twitter_L
Unbelievably dumb for them to give up Harden. For a couple of million more they could have had multiple championships. Penny wise dollar stupid.
My daughter asked me "who is the worst" and after explaining they are all really good because they are in the NBA I got her answer. Anyone care to guess? Coming in at #500 and the final spot on their list is...Royce White. LOL
Lol how long ago was this? You can find a bad series or game for nearly every single player, so what?
CP has always been overrated. His teams never advancing in the playoffs doesn't seem to matter to most people.
