    ya that's me on reddit. i was taking out the trash and spotted it sitting right on top. the gf begged me not to dig a basketball out of the dumpster and when i did she proceeded to use clorox wipes on it to sanitize it (except the signature). there were a couple white stains on the ball. i'm guessing an over zealous rockets fan or a pissed of gf/wife. it was thrown out along with some other things which i'm guessing were the guy's. it now sits proudly next to my hakeem signed ball. getting a case asap.

    ya i was worried about the 23 looking like a 27 but it looks like he probably didn't turn the ball when he was signing it so the marker may have kinda slid or something on the side.

    it would probably get like $100-$150 on ebay. definitely not selling it for that. i've got to keep it for my collection.

    Your buddy quoted the value at $130. You're interested in buying it, but the market for Calvin Murphy autographed basketballs is not in high demand, and it would be taking up space in your shop for a while before it would be sold. Your final offer is $20.
