even though we play this team twice, they own the tie breakers with us: Look at the teams they beat: Seattle, 49ers at SF, Denver. And if those team are title contenders, the n the Colts are. They can go 7-2 and can still be the 2nd best team in the AFC, behind the Chiefs and get the 1st round bye...
Technically, I guess they do - but only because we haven't played them. IF(...) we were to sweep them, whatever tiebreaker they might currently own (record in common games, followed by conference record; we're actually tied with 1-0 division record, which is the second tiebreaker behind head-to-head) would be swept away. I'm not suggesting it'll happen... but they own nothing of any significance so far. That's why Sunday was sooooooo critical - if they had lost and we had won, we're 3-4 overall, 3-2 in the conference while they fall to 4-3 and 2-3 in the conference, setting up a HUGE Sunday night game. Alas...
