regardless, he still showed great poise being thrown into the fire, and he still won his first 2 starts clinching the playoffs for us and he will always have that beautiful drive in cincy.. ive been in support of giving tj a chance at the very least. his window to prove himself is much smaller than schaub was ever given but i think he may have closed it shut today.. even if all he did was complete a few passes and didnt toss 2 picks you might think about giving him a week to prepare.. now if schaub is out you might look at starting case.. honestly i dont think there even a point of having case on the roster if youre not gong to give him an opportunity..

This game just proved to me, we were too hard on Schaub. Both of the TDs were CLASSIC Kubiak calls in the red zone to Tight Ends, the same type of throws opposing defenses have been jumping on all season.

Yates seemed ok out there but he played like Schaub, all yards no TDs which leaves the blame squarely on the play calling and preparation.

I don't expect Kubiak to be fired mid season but truth is, he should be let go at the end of the season. Really, given all the time, talent and leeway he has been given, he should resign and spare McNair the trouble of doing so before the draft.

"But we were 12-4 last year and had 400 yards on offense today! Kubiak is great!" - Texans apologists (Hey Now!)

Horrible play calling, clearly Texans film is being reviewed and Kubiak just playing the same plays since he started.

The next time our QB pump fakes will be the first. All they need is a simple pump (getting the DB out of position) then have the TE break downfield... minimum 15yards. Where is the coaching, design, adjustments? Kubiak is a joke in many, many ways.

I want Keenum in there damnit!

Yates??? He is still a 3rd stringer in my eyes. The guy is nothing more than Schaub lite.

And Keenum is an undrafted practice squad player in many other peoples eyes... and he'd be running the same system that the other two QB's have proceeded to "fail" in thus far this year.

Keenum won't be going "comanche" on this team.

Yes that was last year. A year has passed and a really good preseason performance meant he wasn't going to make it through waivers THIS year.

When the announcer said to practically double TE Graham before TJ threw that pick 6, that did it for me.... Even he know what was gonna happen...... Anyone knows how many times Andre has been targeted in goal line situations??... My guess is under 10 thus far this season... pathetic

Teams now have more tape on him. His name is much mentioned more throughout the media now vs last season.

Yates had just as good a preseason, if not better, and he's still not a starting caliber QB.

When Yates was out doing the same things we criticize Schaub for, I don't think it's because Yates is simply Schaub-Lite. It's because that's Kubiak's offense. That's what he coaches his QBs to do. The bigger problem lies with Kubiak. Put Keenum out there and he's going to be asked to run the offense the same way Schaub and Yates have. Same situations, same plays, same throws, and in all likelihood same results as Yates.

    Texans have nothing to lose.

    Start Keenum.
