Is it just me, or does Smeg look like a cross between the lead singer of Better Than Ezra and Judge Reinhold?
I've been experimenting with codecs in what little spare time I have to try to bring the file sizes down...so far, the best quality to file size ratio I can get is about 10M per minute. Still makes for a outrageous total size per game. Did anyone ever get you the 1st Lakers game? Thats the one I have been experimenting with. If all else fails, I'll put it on disc and bring it tomorrow..any other ones, you can get off my ftp as I do em. By next season, I'll have everything down pat, and hopefully the games will be worth recording...wish I could say the same about this year.
A funny story to help everyone who's feeling old feel really old: I am 27 years old. 302's GF is 21. Yes, I'm robbing the cradle. No, I don't regret it. One day we were talking about our oldest memories. In my case, the first memory that I can really remember clearly is seeing Star Wars when it first came out in 1977 (I was born in late 1975). Anyway, back during the 25 anniversary of Elvis' death, I made the comment that I had no memory of Elvis being alive (Elvis died in 1977....same year as the Star Wars memory). Her response was something along the lines of, "Oh my GOD!!! You were alive when ELVIS was still alive?? I immediately felt about 8000 years old.

Its funny 'cause I grew up listening to Elvis, so I'm sure my dad was playing his music while Elvis was still alive, but I just have no memory of it. I actually meant to preface that post you quoted with something like, "This will make some of you feel really young, and some of you feel really old." That was one of the very first times that I actually felt OLD, though. Its been all down hill since then. I listen to talk radio and everything.
Im sorry, I meant the first one that Shaq did play in. The one the featured Yao stuffing him a couple of times in the first quarter. I'll have to look..I'm not sure if I got the 3OT Pacer game. Hell...after the way this season has gone...I could give ya the tapes I recorded and I wouldnt miss them at all.. Tho to be fair, I only kept the ones that were remarkable in some way or the ones that were wins.
