Google changed the algorithm in a significant way recently - Hummingbird - and focuses more on semantic search. Any case study that includes research from over a month ago is now worthless.
bing won but it's only because 3 out of 5 searches i did were for p*rn related content and bing had pics.
On a related note, I've probably watched Bring It On all the way through 3 or 4 times. Also good was Bring It On: All or Nothing, though I think I only watched it once.
So has anyone kept up with using Bing since? Does it/has it gotten better? Here in China, I'm stuck with the dumb-and-dumberer choices of Bing and Baidu, and I swear Bing is downright brain dead r****ded. Last night trying to search for "how does Kingsoft make money" (no quotation marks) on Bing returned the top result of "Where does Microsoft make money?", and only 2 results on the first page were about Kingsoft, the rest were about Microsoft. I mean, WTF? How stupid is their search engine? The whole department should be fired, Nokia-style.
Yeah wasn't that in a gladwell book. People liked the initial taste of Pepsi better but liked come after the can was open for a little while and also after the first couple of drinks.
^It was As for search engine, I use DuckDuckGo for normal stuff and the search bar (extension) because I'm logged on gmail. It's probably 60% effective as google, but I like consented privacy (better pay me to data mine me) and I still have incognito mode...
