LOL. It makes sense in the strategy side of thing, but it won't work for ego. Harden didn't come over here as a 6th man again. He is the superstar. Every one else step aside (perhaps Howard just take 1/2 a step). LOL. But seriously, let the starters start for their ego's sake, so they don't think they are subs. However, McHale should entertain this as an option during the game to see if Harden with the 2nd unit (perhaps with 1 or 2 starers) and Lin with Howard will win them more games. Harden playing separately from Lin or vice versa will maximize their playmaking skill for the entire game without any let down in offense.
I understand the emotions and the intellectual reasoning behind making a thread like this, but I'm not sure this is helping anything. If you think a concept is absurd, the proper response to it may not be more apparent absurdity.
This thread is bringing me closer and closer to posting the 'Vince Young..sign him' thread in the texans forum
you guys are so funny. you have the lof's saying the same stuff on the other thread (Jeremy Lin needsto be the sixth man). Then you have the HOF's being butthurt about another member expressing his opinion. Opinions go both ways, u guys don't need to act like you guys are above others! Just relax
I don't think this is a good idea, but it is one conclusion can be reached base of some of the reasonings why Lin should come off the bench. I posted something similar in another thread. I don't think you should start a new thread though.
The thing is, all of this can go into one giant thread called "Lin Unsorted". It would be Lin Fans vs Rockets Fans. However, nobody can type a sentence. You must use a picture to express your point in response to another posters picture.
When Lin has one good playoff game then... it still won't change the fact that Harden will always start.
Right, but when tracy mcgrady and yao were on the rockets, 90% of the threads on here were about them as well. It's a forum dedicated to the team, therefore people are entitled to create threads about players who they want to talk about. I can see where the original poster got his idea from. He's basically stating the fact that the same argument can be made again Harden coming off the bench like how others are saying Lin should come off the bench. While I think this might not be a good idea, but I can understand where he's coming from. Personally, I still think Lin should start with Harden. But this is another (Big) topic.
