I wish I were in Houston for the next two games. Win loose or draw the Houston Rockets are my team and I would love to see them play their last two home games. As a matter of fact if my sons B-day were not this weekend I would be there on the 12th (Smeggy Day at Compaq) even though I live in Dallas. Why support the Rockets when it looks like they are so positively out of the play-offs? Because I am not ready for the season to be over. I’m not ready to wait through the summer eagerly anticipating the fall when the NBA starts up again. Why should I give a damn about a team that just played what may be the 2 worst games in franchise history when they are suppose to be fighting for a play-off spot? Because I bleed Red, Gold, White and even Blue and White pin stripe. It is not likely that Phoenix will lose three of its last four but stranger things can happen. More importantly though I don’t plan on concerning myself with Phoenix or how they do. I only want the Rockets two win the last three regardless of Phoenix and if by some miracle Phoenix should blow its last three games then we will be in a position to take advantage of it. Either way lets support the Rockets for the last three games and hope to see them go out winners even if they don’t make the play-offs. After all these are probably the last three games we will get to see until October 31st.
Honestly the Rockets deserve a chorus of boos if they walk off the Compac center court as losers one more time this year.
Not so well last night. I was one time that I definitely wanted the Mavs to win and they let me down.
No one gets more dissapointed than I do when the Rockets lose but I will continute to support them regardless of you or the out come of the next game. With only three games left before the end of the season I can wait until then to start debating what the Rockets need in order to go to the next level. Boo's are definitely not on my agenda.
