    McHale is smarter than all of you guys. And I think I smell a marketing ploy from the Rocket's front office here as well.

    Lin with the starting rotation is a complimentary player who is the fourth scoring option after Harden, Howard and Parsons. Lin with the second team is the first scoring option, and he will be playing against Indiana's second team. This could be a real opportunity for Jeremy Lin to relive his starter days with the New York Knicks in front of his die-hard fans in the Philippines and maybe Taiwan as well.

    This is the best way to put Jeremy Lin in a position to give his fans a show.

    See how smart these guys are? Seriously.

    I don't know what is this comparing thing you're talking about, but you said

    That's what I was responding to. I do know Filipinos who are big fans of Lin BTW. So I guess that's got nothing to do with him being Asian.

    I can understand that not all Filipinos come to see Lin but I don't think there aren't many who like Lin. First ever NBA game in the Philippines? Doesn't sound like coincidence.

    Don't worry, we got all of pre-season for the team to get to know how Dwight likes it and to also learn that they need to give him his touches. It's all good.
