this is the guy who can't even beat pryor, even pete carroll chose a rookie QB over him when Flynn was their prized acquisition in the offseason.

Hey, can't laugh at the Raiders any more when they have the same record through 5 weeks as we do unfortunately

This guy is shockingly bad under pressure. His pocket presence makes Schaub look like Peyton Manning.

And that was after just one game.

Pryor was so much better than him it was laughable.

He got beat out by a 3rd round pick, and then a 3rd round pick from the supplemental draft.

I don't know if this guy will get another job. He's seriously a deer in the headlights.

His performance against Washington was so utterly terrible that the coach put him 3rd on the depth chart following the game, behind an undrafted rookie free agent.

He basically said "I don't care if you're making 6 million dollars, you're a complete piece of **** and we'd rather put in a guy off the streets than you".

Ouch. Well hey Matt Flynn at least you made yourself quite a lot of money pretending to be Aaron Rodgers against a piss poor Lions secondary for 1 game.

I think one game is plenty of time to judge a player before signing him to a contract.

Exactly. I thought this the entire time. Why is everybody raving about this guy off of one game. That's the NFL for you though.

His arm strength is average and not the biggest guy around. He is what you call a borderline NFL player . Zach on the other hand has size and arm strength only question is his his mobilty and how he foes on the combine. Magic number on the 40 for Qbs is 4.8 or faster with pocket awarness.

How soon will it take for Stevie Johnson to tweet about dropping an A-bomb on Baton Rouge? Flynn is terrible.

Flynn is terrible but they're on about their 10th QB. Okay, not quite but Manuel, Kolb, Tuel, Lewis, and now Flynn.

(Also had Leinart but he was released and Dennis Dixon on the practice squad.)

    Bills release QB Matt Flynn
    Updated: November 4, 2013, 1:51 PM ET
    By Mike Rodak | ESPN.com

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills released quarterback Matt Flynn on Monday.

Flynn was signed on Oct. 14, one week after starter EJ Manuel injured his knee. Flynn was inactive for his first two games and did not play in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

This is the second time Flynn, 28, has been released this season. He had been let go by the Oakland Raiders last month after being acquired in an offseason trade with the Seattle Seahawks.

Manuel has been cleared to return but the decision on whether he plays Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be made by coach Doug Marrone.

Flynn's release leaves the Bills with three quarterbacks on their 53-man roster: Manuel, Thad Lewis and Jeff Tuel. The team also has Dennis Dixon on its practice squad.

To replace Flynn, the Bills signed fullback Evan Rodriguez.
