You're probably right, but not every Chinese-Filipino is a Hokkien speaker and even those that do usually speak Mandarin too. Also, why do you say it's a dying language? I mean it's spoken throughout the Fujian region in China and by a lot of Chinese in SE Asian countries?

I've never been to the Philippines, but it sounds great. My father spent several weeks there in 1944, during WWII, but he didn't have all that nice a time. ;-)-
