I read about this from a yao ming website about something SF or CM supposedly said in the preseason and I quote :

During the preseason, I recall Cuttino or Franchise saying if the Rockets didn't make the playoffs this season, you could expect the front office to break the team up, and he even agreed with that approach because they would not have gotten the job done.
    End of quote

Would you guys know if this is true ? was it SF or CM who said this ?

    Yes you're right!
Before the regular season started one of the players said that not making the playoffs would be a reason to break up the team.

I can't exactly remember which player it was, but i think it was Mo Taylor.

Not sure if breaking up the team is needed.... Some changes YES, but a good mix up would help. The coaching staff has to be strongly looked at for improvement to make this team better.

Although the pain of breaking up the team and start from scratch is huge, the way things now, we might as well just do a major overhaul of the team and let the new team gell for a year and see what happens.

It's really painful to watch the Rox the past two games. It's even more heart breaking after you see how much better they can play as they shown in about 3 or 4 games this season.

Something better happen...The way the offense is run now is a joke...You need players that aren't afraid to shoot...even if they miss a couple of times...

How many times does the shot clock have to buzz with the rock in the Rox hands...How many times do we have to pass (100) before someone steps up and takes a shot...

I suspect Cat is gone and hopefully Rice and Cato...

Then get ready for some of our favourite players to be on other teams next season. If Rudy T cant be the Head Coach expect a clean sweep of the Coaching Staff. ( I still think though that there will be a revealing explaination of our colapse during the last two games! Steve Francis can play better than he did in thoes games with one hand tied behind his back. Why does a 7'6'' Center 3ft from the basket miss putting the ball in the basket? )Was it to sabotage someone or something?
