Austin City Limits Festival 2013

What are some good sleeper/unknown bands for the weekend? Got some gaps in the schedule that I'd like to fill up.

 

Between what times? Who is already on your list.

 

Figures that the first time I don't go will likely be the best weather in the history of this festival.

 

Go see Reignwolf. Unless you have no soul or are a hipster douche, you will not be disappointed.

 

I was just thinking the same thing a few minutes ago while out getting lunch and seeing people heading to acl

 

Went all 3 days and the weather was great. Lionel Richie was great to finish out last night too. .

 

Tix are dirt cheap. A friend and his wife ended up with passes for $80 a piece. Think I'll be driving up Thursday night and finding one Friday morning.

 

You can hustle scalpers for even cheaper, I had friends getting in for $60 bucks but that was late Friday.

 

Aaron Behrens and the Midnight Stroll was besides Kendrick Ofcourse was the best show I saw and I was there for all 3 days

 

Now I'm rethinking not going. If I can find one real cheap, I'll go for a day or 2. Not doing all 3.

I figure since this weekend isn't even sold out, we will get in for less than $80. Can't not go at that point.

 

Weird, I heard Kendrick was terrible.

 

Kendrick was terrible? Not sure who would think that. He was pretty damn good, livest crowd I was a part of all weekend.

 

I thought Kendrick put on a good show.

 

My friend and the group he was with left 20 minutes into his show since they weren't impressed and they got the same vibe from the people around them as well...maybe he got better at the end of his show

 

First ACL. Simply awesome, from the weather to the music to the crowd. :grin:

 

First time going to ACL, the first day was pretty damn hot but the other days had amazing weather. Really good shows all around, the only one I didn't really like was fun. Wasn't a fan to begin with but the group I was with wanted to catch them. We didn't stay long for it.

Kendrick put on a pretty great show. If they weren't fans to begin with I understand them not liking it but if they were fans then they probably would have enjoyed it. I thought it was weird that he was pretty much the only rapper at the festival.

 

kaskade had the best looking eye candy crowd
