that's because the 49ers only need 3 plays and 20 yards to score when they do get the ball

Kubiak's level of intelligence is just beyond mortal comprehension, because my mere mortal brain cannot compute why with 40 seconds left he kept on calling plays right down the middle of the field.

When I say 9-7 is still a contender, that's not what I think, but what Uncle Bob will trot out as his excuse for not firing Kubiak.

The most frustrating thing is that these Dallas fans in Austin are talking so much trash, but other than that, I'm having a positive outlook.

Come the next couple of games, I think we see a QB or coach change.

If he keeps rolling with this QB, expect one to be picked up in the draft...

Except we'd be enjoying our own suffering.

Most folks feel angry and frustrated that it was clear before the season started that Schaub had gone Brad Lidge - and now we're watching this team go from 11-1 and flirting with the notion of a Super Bowl berth to pissing away what's left of Andre's prime and a championship-caliber defense.....all because Kubiak is going to hold onto Schaub with white knuckles. And McNair will sit back and let him.

    It sucks.

Everyone wants to be a good fan, but it's tricky to stay in between the lines: apologist homer on one side and never-satisfied b****er on the other.

But if you are in here posting, it's because you give a damn.

Season's not over yet. I have zero expectations of Kubiak benching a healthy Schaub (excluding a late switch in a blowout) until we are eliminated from playoff contention.

Texans need to go 5-1 in their next 6 games to have any shot at the playoffs including beating the Colts at home.

I still believe they can turn this season around. This is a team that beats the bad teams and generally wins games they are supposed to win. Losing at baltimore, to seattle and at san fran is not surprising. They also have beaten what now appears to be 2 pretty good teams in san diego and the titans.

We'll see how it goes...but i wouldn't give up on them just yet.

How is there not a rule in place that takes away having to worry about how good the referee's hands are?

If it gets to 28-0 in the 2nd half, I expect Yates will come in unless it's because the 49ers score on the opening possession.
