Oh, and of course Mr. Mean seems like he should get a lotta blame too... Our momentum from that 5-game streak that made us all so happy was shattered to pieces in the first game he coached, and it was all down hill from there.

It just looks ugly to see the OLD JAZZ beating you on fast breaks. Boys, how old are Stockton and Mailman and how old are you?

    WTF!

Hey Rox players, see how the Suns play. They beat the Mavs! They really work very hard, and they are really devoted to the final playoff spot! How did you guys play? You gave us fake hopes in rare good games, and then disappointed us with tonnes of stupid game! You made us FRUSTRATED, ANGRY, and DISAPPOINTED!!! It's really tough to be a Rox fan! I would always remember the Dream...

Fire Larry Smith, trade all the busts and only keep Francis and Yao, and other rookies this year perhaps (Hawkins, Boki and Maddox), give us a veretan LEADER. We greatly need a guy to lead the team.

"Yao. I honestly think Yao too is suffering from a case of nerves. But unlike Francis, one can argue that Yao is "young" and just learning the pressures of the NBA. Moreover, I can only speculate that there is probably something missing btw the Coach Mean and Yao relationship. Looking back the last few games, the substitutions are downright "bench Yao in favor and Cato and crew." Perhaps its a lack of confidence or comfort Coach Mean has in coaching Yao. Who knows??? But suffice it to say, Yao and RudyT seem to have the better communication going and consequently, the better player coach relationship. "

That is well said. He may not be happy with the situation. Tired or not is not valid excuse.

There are many factors contributing to the recent break down of this team, like Yao didnt play well, too many turn overs, blah blah, too many. I think the biggest problem of all is this team doesnt have one or two vet player that can pull us through. As much as we hate the Suns and Starbury, the Sun is a more complete team than us. Starbury is playing like that he knows how to win. Francis, francis, the guy is clueless at big time. I dont know if he's ever going to be a big time player. I am very very disappointed. We need Kidd.

    Thx.

But I tell ya, this team has absolutely no heart. Whatever heart they did have fluttered in fear at the first sound of Coach Mean's "encouragement". IMHO, what this team needs is some GLUE. They lack mental cohesion esp. in these times. And while it's great to have leadership "off the court" with RudyT, it's our leader "on the court" who get us the W. There's simply too much "raw nerves" on the court in any quarter of the game. i.e. right now, we have too many greenbeans and not enough sprouts.

    1. EG is a greenbean
    2. Yao is a greenbean
    3. Posey is a greenbean
    4. Francis is a jumping bean
    5. Mobley is a jelly bean

    6. Cato is a jumping bean
    7. Moochie is a pinto bean
    8. Maurice is a lima bean
    9. Rice is a dried up moldy bean

    Prognosis: TOO MANY BEANS!

The nice part is that we might get lucky in the lottery again. If we're really lucky, we can package Mobley, Griffin, and our pick for a really high pick and maybe get Carmelo, or some Euro.
I would be happier with Kirk Hinrich running the point. I think I'd even rather have Gerry McNamara than Stevie. Steve is highly overrated. He's had time to mature, and he is getting worse rather than better. Mobley would be a back-up on almost any other team. James Posey will be gone after the year. Griffin will never be able to develop because he will never be a post player on this team. We need to trade him while his value is still slightly high (no pun intended). Moochie is, without a doubt, the worst player I have ever seen on the Rockets. I used to say that as a joke, but now I really mean it. I could out-shoot Moochie. We should rebuild the team around Yao, and Steve will have to realize that its not his team anymore. He had his chance to assume the leadership role, and he failed miserably.

I'm so glad the Astros have started. I need something else to think about.

My bad...Memphis does get our picks!

There is no silver lining to this season at all

We'll have to trade to get a pick, which I am all in favor of.

The funny thing is...I think the Sun match up better with the Mavs than the Rockets do.

The Mavs seem to have trouble with Marrion.
No one can guard him. Not one person on the Mavs.

At least Murbury can be doubled. But Marrion seems to score on the slow as* Mavs defense even when they do double Marrion.
