Matrix 2 anyone excited

    I think the reason why is becuse with LOTR, we know what is coming, it is just a matter of how P Jackson is bringing it to the screen.

    With the Matrix, I'm dying in anticipation waiting to see what happens next!..

    And thankfully, they are only gonna make us wait 6 months between flicks...unlike LOTR.

    FWIW I am all wooded up. Can't wait. Never been more excited for a movie other than Episode 1 (letdown) and Spiderman(overdelivered)

    T3

    that will be more movies I see in the theater than I normally do in one year.

    The fact that the special effects get ripped of so much tells how revolutionary the movie. I myself was totally into the story, but the writting wasn't all that great. I once heard a critic explain the difference between science fiction and science fantasy, saying that science fiction is taking scientific ideas and concepts that exist and projecting what can become in the future and science fantasy is just that, fantasy. I think most sci-fi movies now a days are fantasy, but the Matrix was more sci-fiction, IMHO. I also really like AI, and have never understood why people don't like it that much.

    Did anyone here that if you haven't seen the trailer at the movies that NBC was going to show the 2 minute trailer during a commercial break in an Arena Football game this weekend?

    The 2:30 trailer is showing during Access Hollywood today. People in the UK that have seen it say it is the shiznit.

    I agree with everybody on here. The trailer is speach-less. Damn, i wouldnt be surprise is this is going to be the best movie EVER!!! :)

    First of all, I too am waiting anxiously for it to arrive. Couple things I've heard:

    1) Return of the King trailer MAY, repeat MAY, be shown at Matrix 2. Both movie studios are owned by the same parent corporation so it is possible.

    2) Don't leave during the credits. Apparently, after the credits a trailer for Matrix: Revolutions will be shown after the 8 minute credits.

    This is coming off a mainly wrestling website though and the LOTR thing is rumor at this point, but you can find the reports here

    1) ROTK trailer won't be shown before the Matrix: Reloaded. Link (scroll down a bit)

    2) Haven't heard anything about that. But seems entirely possible. Kind of like the Two Towers trailer after FOTR.
