That's cute. Couldn't have been you making fun of people with DS. It was me misinterpreting it. Please tell me...how should that be interpreted?
I usually enjoy a good bigtexxx buffoonery because his character is so ignorant, but that was out of line.
Austin American Statesman's title for the article about last night's game... Longhorns earn dramatic win over Iowa State Earn? I wouldn't say earn and hopefully no one from the program is saying or thinking that, too.
Not sure if this is accurate, but according to Hornfans, this is Mack rambling to the halftime reporter: Sam, the kids played tough right to the end of the half and never gave up playing their hearts out against a really tough Cyclone bunch that always brings it on Thursday nights don't know what is so special in In The Air In Ames that sounds like a song from a musical reminds me of that song about the wagon what was that musical that lady can't think now i'm so excited for the kids and it's been a hard week Sam you of all people on that side of the mic know what we coaches go through and we got up here yesterday and had a great day today just a great walk through and knew it was going to be a game every play on both sides of the ball i'm just happy for our kids all the negative press is on me this is all about the kids that last score and i got to go now we've still got a ball game to play and it's about these kids and their great night we love playing on thursday night when we get the chance love talking to reece and the rest of the staff and seeing you and we just want everone on espn and the nation to see its about the kids and we're one-and-a-half right now in the big12 and seven-and-a-half to go we're not thinking ahead to OU we've still got to beat a tough bunch here gotta stop the run gotta do better on 3rd and short gotta work harder on the kicking game try to make more big plays on 3rd and long gotta get the running game back in the mix it's all about the kids everything else is on me.
Lulz, he did ramble and when he finished she was all "Ok, well you answered all of my questions right there, I guess." I was embarrassed for him. He's losing his mind.
It's incredible to me that their explanation for throwing so much was because they couldn't run on them. So delusional.
Mike Davis deserves to lose his scholarship for that cheap shot. Adrian Phillips deserves to lose his scholarship for sucking at life. And Byndom....sigh....he had a promising freshman year but he has just imploded since he attended the Manny Diaz school of missing tackles. See also this embarrassing attempt to tackle OU last year: Who is the same player we see? Adrian Phillips. And Mykelle Thompson taking a bad angle, allowing ISU to make a school-record pass TD... Everyone is breaking school records on us. We're so awful.
and the half time reporters on ESPN commented on him leaving them some time for their half time show. It was both funny and sad at the same time.
Did you hear his answers to Chip Brown (of Orange Bloods) during the post game press conference? Chip was asking him "are you worried..." and Mack cut him off and just started defensively rambling how he was not worried about anything after a dramatic and exciting win like that, and the kids and bla bla bla. Chip then finished his questions, which was about about if Mack was worried if Mike Davis would be suspended for the OU game, and Mack, who has apparently lost his mind, as you said, said that Davis did not go low, defended Davis and then said, the only thing he told Davis is that he should NOT HAVE GONE LOW -- which he had just said Davis had not done. Then Chip asked him how you beat OU, and Mack talked about how happy he was that they did not do anything right against Iowa (since they ended up winning anyway), and that they needed to not play terribly, as they had that night. He really seems frazzled and broken at this point. Time to go Mack. Or, give him the Elaine Benice axe and promote him AD to get him out of the position.

I'm glad I switched to the Bills/Browns game instead of this debacle after the first quarter. I'm not happy with the win at all. -Refs screwed ISU out of a win. -Mike Davis should be suspended but probably won't. -Mack Brown is borderline delusional right now. -It's gonna be Red River Massacre next week.
I went and saw the book of morman last night instead. I did see the first 10 pts and was wondering why they stopped running. Looking at the stats is crazy, they didnt even try to run. Mack really just needs to announce he's retiring, It will make the rest of the season a lot easier on everyone.
Texas QB Ash out, Case McCoy to start against Oklahoma http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...-ash-out-case-mccoy-to-start-against-oklahoma
Chances for a winning season and a meaningful bowl game are very slim. They are going to get run over by OU, TT, Baylor, OSU, TCU, etc.
I hope so. Its going to be a new era of Longhorn football next year and I'm hoping its going to be one without Mack Brown, Case McCoy, or David Ash. SWOOPES!
Selling three tickets to the OU game next weekend in Dallas. Section 113, row 15. $360 takes all 3, let me know if you're interested, here in Houston.
