Please do just one small thing which may improve your appreciation and understanding of the game.

The next time Yao get the ball in the low block..don't watch him at all. Lok at the 4 other Rockets. They are all standing on the weakside (non-ball side) perimeter spectating. Next, quickly glance at the shot clock.

Well, Yao's started off better, hitting the jump hook and assisting on a Mobley three. Hope he can keep it going.

I see where you are coming from but the ISO will not win in this leauge. If we play with the ISO all year then you get a bunch of selfish players. If we are going to go through Yao then lets go through him, but you still need chemistry. My definition of chemistry is where every player knows their role and they do just that. On this Roxs team everybody is just doing whatever the hell they want, NO CHEMISTRY !! Look at the Fakers, when they need a big three-Horry and Fox, when they need a game winner[Kobe, etc... As for Larry Smith, he is no coach !! If you think this team can win a championship then so be it, but I personally don't think it will happen. Lets hope for the best :)

Okay...nice start offensively, but the defense is i the crapper right now. Posey -- I think he may want to get his hands up when a jump shot is taken by his opponent.

And please don't run any more plays for Griffin in the post whatsoever.

A very untimely boot, a technical free throw from that.

I also agree w/what GATER said. NO ball movement in thos offense.

And ming1111, you're right. Everyone is strugglin, not just Yao. and with the offensive system of the Rockets, it is hard to get out of this slump.

another blown rebound by Yao! He should have easily gotten that. Yao doesn't need work on his upper body strength, he needs to work on his vertical leap over the summer because that is what is preventing him from being a good rebounder.

Mobley threw a pass straight into the backcourt and Steve kicked the ball into the upper rows.

There was some ball movement, resulting in a very very ugly three pointer. I swear, if I didn't know any better, I'd think I was watching the Celtics the way we're jacking up threes left and right. It's like a whole squad of Antoine Walkers.

Yeah very untimely, but can you blame him after that dumb play by Mobley b/4 that over and back violation?

Also, what is Greg O doing dunking over Yao? I am convinced this team is either tired or has given up!

No rebounding or defensive presence from the big guys!

What you said is kind of valid. But the question is, do you think Yao at this stage is good enough to assume the role as you feel of a No. 1 option? I personally don't think so at this point, but I believe it will happen, just not this year. I'm perfectly willing to wait a couple of years before seeing a championship run, I have no proble with that, what gets to me is all those trade Francis, fire Rudy kind of talks that's been circulating on the BBS. What I see is that we're trying to slowly fuse this team into a more center oriented offence, it will take TIME for both everyone to LEARN their roles and YAO to DEVELOPE. What gets me is this win now attitude while still maintaining the desire to have Yao as the no.1 option. It can and hopefully will happen, but not this year as EVERYONE(includeing Yao) is going through growing pains.

Also for everyone who wants a motion offence, Shaq, Mourning, Hakeem and Ewing, the top centers of the past decades, never played in anything that is a motion offence. motion offence works when your primary big men is a pf who is fast, agile, and athletic. Centers can't get up and down the court as fast and doesn't move as well with out the ball, which makes it hard to be motion when your one of your two primary offensive option is a center.

I agree with that. It's amazing how many jump balls Yao doesn't get over guys he's much tallar than. And I think his jumping ability is what gets him posterized all the time, too. He's just tired, though, I think as well.
