If you trade for Cousins you shouldn't over pay. He was only a 4th round pick after all. He has shown flashes, but he is still a complete unknown.

At most I would trade a 2nd rounder and a 6th for him. Maybe give them Yates and a 2nd.

And our best bet in the end is next years draft.

That is the bad news about drafting one. Is like starting all over Texans need to win now because the Texans aren't getting any younger. Texans would have to trade up to get one of the top prospects.

It's not like Cousins has a ton of experience, and I hope the Texans give Keenum a look before they draft or trade for another QB.

Nope he doesn't have alot of game experience but he has a year and a half of being able to learn in Washington. Plus Cousins has great work ethic and van run Kubes offense of system. Im not saying he will bevome the savior but he is better than Flynn or even Keenum because of his arm strength and he has that kinda gundlinger mentality but very rffectivr.

I would try to get Cousins but not for a 2nd, for a 5th round yes.
    or Yates and a 6th.

Looks good. Fast forward to 4:47. Doesn't look good.

There's no reason to bring in this caliber or type of player when there are already two good ones as backups. Else we would have already traded those backups for better ones.

Well...we're about to get a good look at Cousins. I liked him in college.
He will be available for a price in the offseason regardless of how he performs (seemingly). He'll either suck and be worth pennies on the dollar...or he'll rock and get overpaid.
I've had this guy on my radar and hope it works out well for him. If he overperforms...I'd like to think the Texans would at least look at him. If he could be had for lower round picks, then great. The Texans would then have the luxury of drafting Clowney or trading down to recoup picks...and multiple players.
    Thoughts?

I want RGIII (If Cousins somehow shows to Redskins he deserves the job) They
    might trade RGII

would you trade a first round pick for him? Who say no?
