he could have been (still could be?) the first black president. id vote for him over any of the other chumps out there.
Greg, in all seriousness, GO AWAY! Seriously, what have you contributed in this thread. You told someone who, IMO, is a way better poster than you to go away. He is only trying to help. What are you trying to do? Then, for some reason you point out Dadakota's (great) sig as depressing. That is not depressing, it is just a great, true, but shockingly real quote. Contribute, then maybe you could have the privalege(sp?) to tell someone to go away! Otherwise, SHUT YOUR MOUTH!
Yeah, I really wanted to know what the deal was and what they thought about it. I didn't really get to talk since basically after I asked the question....they rapidly fired one after the other, not allowing me to get any words on. Oh well, I'll get em next time..
Enough said! Thats why more than 50% of voters voted against him! Another in the line of War Mongers, surrounded by more War Mongers!
Miguel: I heard that this afternoon. Didn't know it was you, though. The problem with the call was that 1. You were obviously nervous. Don't be in the future. There is nothing to be worried about with local jocks. Hell, I've called Matt Jackson "poopypants", and talked about the best fast food tacos, and I will always call Vandermeers show calling him "VanDerBeek". Just have fun. 2. You asked them a question that had an obvious answer and was a slam dunk. The two of them together tend to dismiss those type of calls. Understand that there are two of them, and you have to make them wonder about something to keep you on the line. I remember last year they were both arguing about something I had talked about for over an hour. Just make sure when you call to ask something insightful, and not just a "yes or no" question. And HAVE FUN!!
Because they are talking heads who are more personalities than actual sports analysts. The next time I learn something from those two, will be the first. I like listening to them, but I get more entertainment value than sports value from it.
Heh, yeah, I had been holding for about half an hour and I was talking to my friend on my cell with the other phone on my ear. Expected like a warning or something that i'd be on in 10-15 seconds, and I didn't have time to prepare. That, and I'm not the best speaker in the world either
Be careful where you tread Yetti, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you. Just saying be careful All of you guys should go to the hangout if you want to continue these discussions. As far as Greg first post, I too thought it was hillarious.
You know, now that I think about it I heard that call also. The guys said that they thought that the old unis weren't great and people are attached to them because the last time they were worn, the Rockets were champions and the current unis are so terrible that you can't help but feel that much more affinity to the old ones. They also said it was no way the league was going to let the Rockets where the retro ones the rest of the season.
You should try calling the "Morons in the Morning" on 610. They are more personable not to mention hilarious. Just make sure to insult Jeremy and they'll kee you on as long as you want! "Uh....is this the tape-room?"
the "uh...is this the tape-room?" was so hillarious. I actually felt sorry for Jeremy when that happened. Even the guys from the sporting news network were making fun of him.
Oh, I'm telling you I was laughing so hard that day that I almost rear-ended the guy in front of me at the toll booth! They're great. Today they were thowing cereal at Jeremy during his updates.
Give's me chill's... but the truth is here... http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl-colin-powell.htm
