Not quite all of them. And there have been incidents of cyclists smashing car windows with their U-locks when drivers have pushed forward while CM riders are illegally rolling through an intersection.
To me it looks like the group of bikers comes up from behind and surrounds the range rover. At around 0:17 the ranger rover gives a few short honks while they are literally surrounding him. This causes some of them to take notice and brake check him. At this point the entire group stops and is looking back at the range rover. IMO a few little honks for being surrounded by bikers is not grounds to get brakechecked/stopped and approached on foot. The bikers are totally in the wrong here, I'd be scared ****less at that point and probably would have reacted in a similar way. Salvy makes a good point about just trying to avoid groups of motorcyclists but it seems to me that they surrounded him and are not making any attempt at obeying traffic laws, causing the driver of the rover to honk. It wasn't even a mean honk just a few short, excuse me honks. No justification for the bikers actions. To chase this guy down and smash his windows/jump him because he tried to speed off when they stopped and surrounded him with obvious ill intent? Not justifiable. That moment at 0:45 where they are all stopped looking back at him and one is approaching him on foot is scary as hell.
On a nice Sunday, this is how I feel on 762 on the way to the Brazos bend state park. They either go 15 miles under or ride your ass because you're not going 90.
The driver should have swerved back and forth and kept knocking the bikers on their asses...good job on him, I would have handled that situation much worse. I have little patience for that kind of stupidity...and Im sure I would have ended up hurting many of those bikers.
Yes he wouldn't have bumped the biker if the biker didn't slam on his brakes in front of the Range Rover. The biker was trying to start something....and he chose poorly.
I drive a bike & I do have a little crew but we never act like douchebags. Always give cars their space, try not to rev the engines to the point where it gets annoying. Not all bikers are like this. Be careful when you generalize. Don't be an *******.
Odd. I just finished watching Easy Rider and was generally happy people don't shoot bikers off their bikes anymore. Even took the Glide for a ride. Then I see this crap. Some of us SHOULD get shot off our bikes for pulling that bull**** mop mentality crap on a family. Bikerboyz the new Hells Angels.
Actually, JUST KILL THEM ALL. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TRYING TO DEFEND THIS GUTLESS MOB OF COWARDS. Family with a 5 months old are you kidding me????
Warning - D&D comment It's times like these that I'm thankful for living in a gun-friendly state. A few years back, some friends and I were returning from a hunting trip when a large group of bikers whizzed past us. They were doing wheelies, revving their engines very loudly, and intimidating drivers on the road. I like to think that if they had attacked on us like in the video, we would have shot their bikes/tires/legs.
my understanding is that several of the bikers began approaching the SUV on foot and even tried to slash his tires - with a 5mo old baby in the car, DAD mode takes over really quick. I don't blame him at all. I would've done the same thing in fear of the life of my family. He was on the phone with the police during the chase and when he was pulled out of the SUV
My hero and I share the same take <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/CGb76UWmgug?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
