NBA 2K14 Thread

Damn I'm depressed. And likely down fifty bucks when it comes out.

They call that chandler parsons? Lazy ass 2k

They're also not releasing a demo for the game. Do they think that their ps4 and xboxone version is going to blow everybody away?

 

I mean obviously they're focusing more on the next-gen version...

 

Well, they ****ed up because there are more people with ps3 and 360 than ps4 and xboxone when next gen consoles release.


Rockstar could've focus on the ps4 and One but they didn't. They know they can move more units with the current gen. Yea its not fair to compare gta with 2k but you get my point.

I don't even know why I'm ranting. I'm not even going to get the PS4 soon or 2k14.

 

2K has been regressing. They have no real competition so its expected.

I don't know if anybody else plays association besides me but i found this interesting

 

i got $40 credit on xbla and i havent bought since 2k10, wanting to play a basketball game so ima pick this up..

 

I hope it's good and know for sure Lebron is going to be a beast on the fast break. So everyone getting ready for that and the 1-3-1 with online play. I just hope the Rockets are rated where they should be and the right sig shots.

 

I heard that My Career/Player remained unchanged or something, please tell me that's not true.

 

the whole game is unchanged. they added crew mode back in but it's basically just 5v5 blacktop. 2k seems unmotivated because they know they're at the top. Still gonna buy it though just because I love me my basketball games.

Very hilarious...Royce White has the Signature Skill "One Man Fast Break."

Not sure what made 2K think he's a one man fast break???

Yup, don't trust IGN with game reviews, they're garbage most of the time.

 

Review outlets typically have different people doing the previews and reviews. So whoever is saying it is the best ever isn't the same person who will be reviewing the game. Previews are generally written to be positive no matter what as well (in the rare case that it is negative, there must really be some problems with the game).

Though yes, IGN (and pretty much all of these outlets) are garbage most of the time.

 

Same game... Rehashed... New rosters.... No competition between games in sports sucks.

 

It is almost identical to 2k13 but the gameplay is miles better, everything feels a lot smoother and less canned animations. I'll be fine if all the work went into Next-Gen though, which I think it did.

 

I stricly play offline association mode. It's completely broken in 2K. Back during the live days, it wouldn't let you cheat.

In 2k, I can edit a player, change his contract , and attributes all while the season is going. In live it would restrict you from doing this
