    Excerpt:

Sounds like a promising approach. I like that his background is teaching. I think it's great that he's questioning why things are done. He doesn't just do what others do or what has always been done. Hopefully he and the rest will get Dwight right.

Your last statement on the other thread now makes sense "scientific approach" :)

By posting this, does it mean you are now accepting Rogowski's decision to have them do boxing?

I never did not accept it. This is my third or fourth time saying this: My comment was in reference to Canaan saying (in the vid) he'd consider using boxing to stay in shape. I understood this particular work out was more of a one time thing done by Rogowski. I didn't agree with the possibility of using boxing as a means to stay in shape for a basketball player, which has nothing to do with Rogowski's decision, as of now anyway.

    I'm impressed.

Physiology, sports medicine, cross-training, diet. Martial arts (taekwando) to give them balance on either foot. Rockets' FO are covering all the bases. A stats geek front office meets a scientific mind for the training side. Perfect marraige

Soon you'll have the players talking rocket science

    Sounds good.

Is there a mental coach, BB pysch. JLin need one :). J/K aside, excellent in BB has as much to do with mental altitude as physical abilities. Experience gets you there for some. Mental training help can get you there faster especially for younger inexperience players.

Glad to see the front office is serious in strength/fitness training. Cheers.

Doesn't this routine contradict the studies on transfer of training?

Or, for the kids in the room, Brawndo: it's got electrolytes.

I dont think they're focusing on those other things enough to call it a routine, but just enough to "wake up" certain movements/muscles, which should help their bodies be more receptive to the real bulk of their training.

There was, but after a year of dealing with Royce White, the Rockets' sports psych is currently on an indefinite sabbatical due to "exhaustion".
