steve frenchfries!!! i love it! ive heard a few, but that is the best one yet! steve francis is the rated PG version of stephon marbury, without all the tats and surly behavior. remember in the show "cheers", how the bar had an enemy bar that they would always try to pull pranks and other assorted hijinxs on? however, the pranks would always backfire on them. what was the name of that bar again? was it the boyz cellar
Wanna hear how confident Suns fans are about there team making the playoffs. They just started a thread on phxsuns.net entitled---The Official "The Suns are going to make the play-offs or the apocalypse will reign thread"----begging there team to make the playoffs.
But wait, derrrs more!!!!!!!!!!!! Charles Smith - 04:42pm Apr 8, 2003 MST <sinister voice>You don't want that to happen, and neither do I, but I have a feeling if the Suns don't make the play-offs, certain doom will set in, mark my words...</sinister voice> What I'm trying to say is, ppppppppplease suns don't let a guy down, win out and finish strong in the play-offs!
As of 10:25pm, here are the poll numbers: Who most deserves Rookie of the Year honors?Houston's Yao Ming 92.78% San Antonio's Emanuel Ginobili 4.61% Phoenix's Amare Stoudemire 2.61% Total Votes: 31011 Thats just hilarious!!!
Hey Pot, the Kettle's calling. WHEN the Rockets Make the Playoffs . You guys are having a real field day bashing the Suns fans. Maybe one or two of you could register at a Suns site and try and hold an itelligent conversation about any differences you may have. Good luck with the rest of the season.
Well, if you care what the national media types are saying... http://espn.go.com/nba/columns/bucher_ric/1535709.html I always liked Bucher...
Uh oh, the poll at http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index is 46.3% Stoudamire 43.4% Ming 10.2% Butler From the suns website (http://www.phxsuns.net:8080/WebX?50@231.LqHKaw7rytZ^0@.2cb520fd) "The vote count will be 45000 tomorrow with 20000 of the 25000 votes going to Yao after the people at clutchcity get to it. " (good thing they can count too)
I see a couple of Sun fans from that primitive fan site PHXSUNS.NET decided to join us here. I guess this must be one of your so-called raiding parties, Huh? And now you want to challenge us, board with a base of atl east 12,000 Rocket fans, to come over to your board and hold an intelligent conversation with you guys? You gotta be kiddin me, right? I don't think your board can handle that amount of traffic, or any of us for that matter. Besides, I dont see any real interesting conversations being conducted that would persuade us to join you in your little world. I think it would just be a complete waste of our time. But hey, I'm not one to back down from a challenge, being breed in NYC. Nor, did I ever meet a Texan who walked away from one. If you really want us to come over there and talk with you guys, just let us know how to register. Nuff' said.
Calm down Tigger. If you took the time to check my profile, you can see very clearly that I was actually a member at ClutchCity before you were. So no, this isnt a "raid". Charles V Junior Member Posts: 14 Joined: May 2002 Member: #3960 tigereye Member Posts: 302 Joined: Jun 2002 Member: #5123
Hey that's quite alright with me. You have been a memeber longer than me. What does that prove wise guy? You've been a fan longer than me? That I just jumped on ship when Yao arrived. Brotha' I have been a fan of this team since the first game I saw in person against the Celts in the 86' Finals. My allegiance toward this team has NEVER waivered. I have always been on this ship, weather its was smooth sailing like in err.....94' and 95' enjoying beating you guys in the playoffs or when it is sinking. I am here and I always will be. I didnt join the BBS because I never had the time to react to some of the posts I saw. My life was busy and yes I have a life outside the BBS, and its a damn good one filled with girls, booze, and tons of money. It almost matches the life of a Portland Jailblazer, except I dont go to jail as often as they do. Second of all, I was not mad you so there is no need for me to calm down. When I am mad at you, you WILL know it, trust me. I was just simply acknowledging your little challenge to come into the Suns board and rant for a lil while and state my case as to why Yao will be ROY. And be forewarned, I do so in the style of Jim Rome I am sure other Roket fans will probably do the same to defend Yao, too. So as I said earlier.................Just telll us how to register and let the games begin. Put your money where your mouth is cuz I'm callin' your bluff. Nuff said
another one from a Sun fan aimed at dissing H-TOWN Phoenix_Suns - 08:08am Apr 9, 2003 MST (#49 of 51) Who cares what a poll says? If the poll had Amare leading by a million votes, Yao is still going to be voted ROY. The players have spoken, the coaches have spoken but people that play & coach the game don't count in this contest... only the media. And it was obvious from Yao's step onto the court that the media had already decided he was ROY. Yao has been playing pro basketball for 6 fricking years while Amare has only played 3 years of organized team ball in his life. It's sad for Yao that their numbers are even close. Look on the bright side, If a bunch of simps from a Rockets board can spend hours trying to rig a worthless poll, that just means there are more women out there for the rest of the world. Imagine, while their wives/girlfriends are off banging the neighbor they are bragging about their "internet dominance". Every village needs an idiot, and apparently any village that loses one can send away to Houston for a new one.
It is funny that at the begining of the season, Yao was rediculed because he played for lowly Chinese league. "He would be a bust because the level of the competition there is as equal or lower than the level of the high school in the u.s." Now, all the sudden, "He had been playing in a high level professional league for 6 years" ?.
One more thing about this topic. I see you are trying to take a shot at me. You beat me by one month, but you only have 14 posts. Some shot. Nice try kid. That was so weak even Earl Boykins would have rejected that. Now its my turn to fire back at you. Please dont tell me this is your mugshot that I found at PHXSUNS.NET. This is the guy who called the GR8 1 out? This? I think you should change your name from Charles V to Carlton II because your smiling mug reminds me of Carlton form the Fresh Prince.
Suns fans are claiming they got there revenge for the AZcentral.com Poll incident by helping Amare lead the ROY vote on ESPN.com. This is a lil somethin' from PHXSUNS.NET I felt you should read. Vindication!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeds Of Hate - 09:10pm Apr 8, 2003 MST In loving memory of my greatest friend, Randy Turner. Requiescat In Pace.... 19,212 people have voted on the ESPN.com poll for ROY. Butler - 10.1%, Ming - 43.2%..... STOUDEMIRE - 46.5%!!!! Where's clutchcity now, baby! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amare leads Yao 45% to 43%. Now its time to crash there little "Revenge for Amare' party and put Yao in the lead bigtime for good nationally. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index
Tigger, you are an absolute riot. I really apologize for taking away from you women, booze, money and Jim Rome shows. I had know idea you had so much going on in your life. But to answer one of your questions. No that is not a pic of me. Why dont you try and find the guy with the same login as I have before you start assuming things. PS. The ESPN poll is calling.
