Loving Angie's List so far. Just two promo's in two weeks paid for itself. My other quotes before this-

$299 to clean out my air ducts, check AC, flush Water heater.
$169 for a visit and adjustment of valves. The offer below does this and MUCH more to the sprinkler system.

$79 for Air Duct Cleaning with Unlimited Vents and Returns Plus Dryer Vent Cleaning

    Member Price
    $79.00

    Value
    $264.00

    $59 Sprinkler Tune-Up

    Member Price
    $59.00

    Value
    $155.00

I use it. Would recommend. Though some of the best rated are sometimes hard to book, especially for cheaper jobs, because their business has taken off so much due to being highly rated on Angie's List. Not necessarily a negative, but something to be aware of.

It's less than that. I have a coupon that'll take it down to either $19 or $9 - I forget.

Umm... looks like promo code: easy. But it could be old. Just Google it if it doesn't work.

Paying anything for a service like AL is stupid IMO. The internet should all be free - there's a business model to profit from that doesn't require subscriptions. AL will be out of business in a few years once all the older folks pass on. Their member base is growing but they're hemorrhaging in ad spend. In the meantime, yeah, decent service - you get to hold contractors by their balls by threatening a bad review.

For $29.99/Year I think it's WELL worth it, not having to go through contractors left and right or even finding a trust worthy one. Also love the specials and reading the reviews before I choose instead of having to Google and call many, MANY different ones hoping for gold at the end of the rainbow.

I'm definately going to purchase this. There are terrible people out there. Want to turn my garage into a 2 story condo.

The larger companies don't give a **** about Angie's List. They don't coddle to the reviewers. Many of the bigger companies offer better service, faster service, cheaper service, more payment options, advanced technology, better support and a more reliable warranty.

You can find good companies on AL, but they'll often charge more and are often booked out for awhile.

I'm not using it to find someone to build an addition to my home, just to fix sprinklers and other small odd jobs by reputable companies. Not by a guy working out of his truck.
