http://www.houstonchronicle.com/spo...McHale-still-4840981.php?t=7a029e2ef8cba496f0 Oh no, he didn't!
Yeah, he did omit Lin... However, the answer about Omer not being general manager and his job being to come in and play speaks volumes on what coach he is (or is he just playing a tough guy in front of media?)
This is what he did to Kurt for not hustling... and they weren't even on the same team! ....... btw IB4TLOFRAGE
I like his attitude towards asik. And lol @ the comments above. Call me an LOF, but I like Mchale a lot.
U know what, from Mchale i am not surprised. Still having doubting the man. Jeremy is going have to work to seal the deal as the team starting finishing PG.
Perhaps OP should have mentioned the Coach talked about Lin just 2 questions before the one OP posted.
He sure didn't pull any punches on the questions he was asked. I like the tough guy approach though, although I never like his on camera interviews. Then he just seems like a dick to the reporters most of the time for asking questions that are expected and doing their jobs. Nevertheless, I'm all behind Coach McHale this season and hopes that he makes drastic improvements just as we expect our players to do this season. But he does have a tough, but great job ahead of him in figuring out how to make this team of talented players work.
And we have the first LOF falling for this troll thread! OP, honestly this is not a high quality thread. We expect better things from you.
Why do people only pick certain quotes from a whole interview to create controversy haha. The interview as a whole revealed nothing new, I'm glad that McHale with the rest of the coaching staff are putting serious effort into making O and Howard work together. They ARE the top two rim protectors and they ARE the leading rebounders in the game. It will work!
It's not a tough guy act. After all the guys he played with, McHale is not over-impressed by anyone in the league. He can speak truth to Howard and Harden I'm sure, to say nothing of Asik.
